” Up for sale is my Oberheim Matrix-6. This synth is in great condition. All keys play as they should, velocity and after touch function properly. The membrane keys all work as well as all sliders. I’ve recently cleaned the key bed and contacts to ensure it plays with the expression it was made to. It does have some minor wear and tear, but nothing beyond what you’d expect from an almost 40 year old synth. It also has custom wood side panels to give it a unique look. I really really like this synth a lot, but unfortunately I just don’t play it as much as I used to and I need to make room for some more synths I have my eyes on (so it goes). ”

” Oberheim Matrix 6R Rackmount Analog Synthesizer Excellent Condition. I have had this for about 15 years and almost never used it. Everything is functioning well and cosmetically it has very little wear, looks almost new other than small scratches only visible in bright light. No visible rack wear. You’ll love the analog sound of this if you’re used to using plug-ins or other digital sound devices. It’s got the sound of 80’s analog and the unison bass patches are huge sounding. Unlike the Matrix 1000, the 6R has earlier model chips and has front panel programming. Tom Oberheim said he liked the Matrix 6 series better than the Matrix 12 for pure sound quality. Has thick rubber feet so it can be used table-top or racked.”

“Hi friends and gear junkies. We have an Oberheim Mateix 6R. Great 80’s rack synthesizer. Hard to beat the sound of an obi. Add a little reverb on top of these sounds and you’ve got 80’s perfection! Unit functions perfectly. Volume fader failed on the front and was removed. It hasn’t effected anything use wise for me. I’ve used it in my studio setting and never had any volume issues. These are starting to become hard to find.”
