“This example is in perfect working order and is in lovely condition. It comes with the original user manual and even has its original box (this is a bit tatty and has some packing tape on it but i will cover the box with Kraft paper to preserve its integrity). The polystyrene packing pieces are long gone i’m afraid but i will protect the MS-03 with bubble wrap.” Link

Technisch einwandfrei. Lieferung inklusive Original Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Jahr 1978!

“This listing is for a Korg MS-03 vintage signal processor signal to CV converter. The unit is 100% functional and in nice cosmetic condition as well.” Link

Korg, MS-03 @ 13 August 2011, “No Comments”

It is in great condition, albeit a little dusty. The knobs feel great, the power switch feels strong, and the cable is free of any damages. There are very few scratches on the body of this device (mostly along the edges). Other than that, it is in great cosmetic condition for it’s age. I cannot test this since I don’t have the proper things to test it with, however I did plug it in and turn it on. The main power, Peak, and Trig Out lights light up perfectly.” Link

“Korg MS-03 vintage pitch to voltage converter interface. This unit produces VCO CV (control voltage) signals and trigger (gate) signals so that you can use an electric guitar, microphone, or other transducer output (from an acoustic instrument, for example) to “play” a synthesizer. A variety of remote control input jacks let you use foot switches for more freedom and flexibility during live performance. With this amazing unit you can instantly put together your own guitar synthesizer, vocal synthesizer, etc., by simple connection with any synthesizer equipped with VCO CV IN and TRIGGER (Gate) IN input jacks.

The unit is fully functional and in great cosmetic shape.” Link

“Up for auction is a Korg MS-03 signal processor in extremely good condition. Was acquired with various other equipment in an estate sale. Although I have no idea how to use it (the reason I’m selling it), I was assured that it functions perfectly. The only cosmetic flaw whatsoever is the scratch on top (in picture) that I actually put there myself when I was bringing it home in a box with some cables and other items. I’m going to assume that if you are looking at this item you already know what it is, so I don’t feel a need to look up the specs.” Link

“I went a little overboard and got caught up in a bidding war over this item last week and unfortunately the Korg MS-10 I was supposed to get to use this with got sold to someone else so I’m letting it go as I spent too much money on the item.

I don’t have any synths to test this with but my brother brought it into a music store where he works and plugged the Envelope Follower output into an envelope filter effect they had for sale and he said that worked great. They didn’t have any other gear to test this with so I have no way of knowing what else works on this. The peak lights light up with signals and I’m assuming since the Envelope Follower works that the unit is in good working order but without any gear to test this on I’m selling as is with the guarantee that the Envelope Follower works and the LED lights up, wish I had an MS-10 to play around with but I don’t have the money to buy one on ebay and the local deal I thought I had fell through when someone else offered more money.

I won’t go into details on this item, if you found it you obviously know what you are looking for!

Analog pitch to voltage converter. Outputs Hz/Volt, V/Oct CV signals for pitch tracking, Envelope follower and two different types of trigger outputs as well as various inputs and a direct output” Link

“Up for sale, Korg MS-03 signal processor. This is a very rare little box that converts any audio signal into CV and gate to control any analog synthesizer that has CV, or HZ/v controls. Use your drum machine to make cool basslines, or your guitar to play analog synths.
More about the features and also user manual can be found here: http://www.korganalogue.net/korgms/manuals/pp/0301.html
The box is in good condition, tested and 100% functional. Used in my smokefree home studio. It is rated for 100volt and you may need a transformer depending on your country.” Link

“Rare Korg MS-03 Signal Processor unit. This piece has been in storage for last twenty years. I purchased this unit used from an area music store in 1990 and used it for a short time with my Arp 2600. This unit worked perfectly when I put it in storage and still powers up now although I have no way to test it further! This is a perfect companion to the Korg MS-20 Analog Synth!” Link

“Korg MS-03

Part of the MS series that includes the MS-10 , MS-20 and MS-50 synths this is a pitch to control voltage interface for use with analogue monosynths, so you can play your synth with a bass, guitar or microphone… you can sing into it! Its a fun unit. Can hook up to 1V/octave and Hz/Volt so should work with just about all mono synths with cv inputs.

Look at the original manual here http://www.korganalogue.net/korgms/manuals/pp/0301.html

You can set the level of the incoming signal, add portamento and offset the CV, and there are sockets for the following :-

In
Instrument in
Portamento pedal
CV hold pedal
CV/Trig hold
Trig cancel

Out
CV – 1V/Octave
CV – Hx/Volt
Trig – Positive
Trig – Negative
Envelope Follower
Direct out

Fully working and serviced by Jim at http://www.singingcatservices.co.uk (ex Moog technician and thoroughly nice person). There are a few scratches on the face plate but nothing major.” Link

“What we have here is a Korg MS-03 Signal Processor. This signal processor converts any audio signal input into a synthesizer control signal. Put together a guitar or vocal synthesizer instantly by connecting the Ms-03 between your guitar or mike and any synthesizer with CV and trigger inputs. No alterations are needed; just by plugging into the MS-03 and adjusting the controls, your instrument can actually ‘play’ the synthesizer. This unit is in full working condition. Cosmetically there are some scratches and a couple of small dents(see pics).” Link
