“This unit looks nice but due to storage for over 20 years it might need some cleaning and service. It came from a storage that belong to Jim Lowe (James Lowe) a musician and radio personality from the 50′s all the way to the 80′s. I also have sold a guitar Gibson Les Paul that was played by Steven Segal at a performance where Jim was along side of Steven. ” Link

“After bench-test we are unable to get this working properly therefore we are selling it as is for parts. Cosmetically it is in pretty good shape as depicted with the exception that one of the tabs (third from the right) is chipped. Light scratching top bottom and sides. We believe the synth engine works fine and the main problem is interface with the keyboard, however there may be other issues which we were unable to detect. ” Link

“UP FOR BID IS A 60′s SUPER RARE MOOG MINITMOOG, (NOT A MINIMOOG) BUT IT SAYS “MINITMOOG” HOOK IT UP TO A SMALL AMP, AND MOST ALL THE KEYS &SWITCHES WORK, I’M NOT A KEYBOARD PLAYER AT ALL, THIS IS THE WAY I FOUND IT, KEYBOARD IS “SOLD AS IS” ” Link

“You are bidding on a Moog Minitmoog analog synthesizer. The synth works, however it sounds as though the contacts for some of the keys need cleaning and also spring adjustment, as well as the oscillators need tuning(scale is off). The actual tone of this little synth is pretty amazing, super warm, fat, enveloping sound that you can only get out of analog. Aesthetically there are a couple things as you can see from the pictures. This synth is OLD. 35 years old to be exact. So one of the flip tabs has cracked, and it is missing some slider tabs on the left side. Also one of the rubber feet mounted on the underside of the synth is missing, an easy fix. There were only 2500 of these made in 1975-76 before they were discontinued, so own a piece of Moog history. ” Link

minitmoog “Very vintage and rare MinitMoog monophonic synthesizer….decent condition considering it’s over 30 years old.

everything seams to work …I’m not a keyboardist but to me it sounds like it needs an osilator adgustment or tuning. it is missing 3 slider tabs,

but is still adjustable…..looks pretty standard and one of the tabs is cracked half off.” Link

minitmoog “This is a rare (made only one year) minit moog synthesizer project. has no case, chassis only. Good for parts or you can go through it and put it back in playing condition.” Link

minitmoog “hi. welcome to my auction. but i am sooo in two minds really whether to sell this or not. so please allow room with me. im really not sure on this one. so here goes.

1) well…. my trusty good old minitmoog. super friendy believe it or not.. this thing is sooooo god damn old. back when moog really made synths. this came out just after the minimoog was invented. still at that stage when they used raw components. which is why this thing sounds so gritty and warm. it has tuneable oscillators built in to a preset synth. with adjustment to sound like vibrato filter etc. you can see where the polymoog was derived from. its quite a fat sound. even compared the minimoog. and trust me i had one of those before.

2) the condition is really really good. considering its a fossil. lol.

3) what a historical synth as well. considering there are hardly any in existance you will own something that not many people have.

4) its a fun synth to play as well. and definately has the presence that will shock you. and put a smile on your face that you cant get bored of. everytime i touch that key and get that sound i think. (what? cant be?? do not under-estimate a small synth….. i know….” Link

“MOOG Minitmoog Monophonic Synthesizer serial number 1100 to the best of my knowledge less than 2000 were made, very rare! I have been collecting analog synths for 20 years now, I have never come across one again. This synth was purchased as a project, and I just dont have time to work on it now. So here is the good, it is fairly good aesthetic condition with typical aging for a instrument 35 years old. Some of the tone keys are yellowed two are broke, but I have the piece that broke off to one needs to be epoxied. The keys are in good shape, and everything seems complete it is missing one cap and the other four have slight cracks. The bad, when powered up and plugged in I cannot get sound. THE VERY GOOD- When it is hooked up to a keyboard amp, and you turn the power on and off you get a chirp of tone, that chirp changes as you change the tones, filters, modulation etc, just doesnt respond to the keys, so I would have to say it is very repairable by someone who fixes analog synthesizers. ” Link
