The Memory Moog also has control voltage outputs allowing for a Memory Moog to play a Mini Moog. There is a tuning calibration circuit to match the Mini to the Memory. I have also used this Memory Moog to control a modular synth. An extremely versatile instrument.
The patch memory can be down loaded enabling numerous banks to be built. The Memory Moog has a cassette interface for saving the data. This can easily be saved as a .wav file making file storage easier. “Just recently serviced with a lot of work that was done by Technician Larry and at the time I had the midi kit installed which was in my opinion essential. All voices tune and it really does sound great… One of the best polyphonic synths out there. This is NOT mint but in decent used shape and in working order but it has some scuffs, a bent heat sink rib, a small dent where you read the program number (see pics) in the a few mismatched screws, the moog sticker on the back could be replaced and the typical rash on the bottom.
The only real issue this one has is one character in the display isn’t working, its missing the M in MOOG, so it says * O O G * when powered up or when you go into live panel mode (C9 on the keypad) it says L I E P N L, go figure. While Larry and I were trouble shooting it together we got it to turn on and off which shows that it can be fixed and that the character does work. I didn’t feel it needed to be addressed since you can still calibrate in hex and edit all parameters, it doesn’t interfere with any functionality whatsoever at least for how I play the thing. If you it bothers the buyer that much then you can address the situation with a competent technician.” Link

Der Moog hatte meines Wissens nach lediglich nur einen Vorbesitzer. Vor vielen Jahren habe ich den Moog inkl. Plus-Upgrade gekauft und nur im Nichtraucher-Studio benutzt. Das Tuning wurde damals bereits verbessert und stabilisiert.
Der Moog wurde kürzlich von X-TENDED vollständig und sehr aufwendig gewartet. Netzteil, Tastatur, Tuning, Kalibrierung, Wheels, Chips….wurden gecheckt und ggf. repariert bzw. ausgetauscht.
Die originalen wackligen Wheels wurden z.B. gegen neue stabilere ersetzt und das Pitchwheel wurde im oberen Bereich um eine Rückholfeder bereichert.
Das Tuning funktioniert einwandfrei!
Die Tatstatur wurde vor Jahren bereits vom Service gegen eine invertierte ausgetauscht.
Ich glaube, das gibt es so oft nicht!
Auf den Kang und die Möglichkeiten des Synthesizers werde ich nicht eingehen müssen. Der für mich beste polyphone analoge Synth überhaupt!
Das Instrument wird umständehalber in liebe Hände gegeben.
Der Moog steht im Großraum Berlins und sollte nach Auktionsende abgeholt werden. Versand ist prinzipiell auch möglich. Die Versandkosten wären allerdings auf Grund des Versicherungswertes sehr hoch.

“It’s a Memorymoog – the keyboard that was so expensive to produce that it basically put Moog out of the game.
But wait, there’s more! This keyboard has been flown to Germany where Rudi Linhard (aka Mr. Lintronics) has personally upgraded a ton of internal components, installed a fantastic MIDI implementation, and given it additional in/out functions for external access to the rockin’ ladder filter that defines the Moog sound.
http://www.lintronics.de/ will give you an idea of what is done. The current Lintronics upgrade costs 3600 Euros. That’s like a billion dollars. (or $5035 at today’s exchange rate).
It has a few minor scratches – the largest cosmetic flaw is the remnants of the previous owner rack-mounting it. You’ll see in the pictures that there are 3 holes drilled into each side.
Unit fully functional. Some potentiometers may be a bit scratchy, but that’s easily fixed by just rotating them a few times. (Shipping can jar loose oxidated material from the potentiometers, making them temporarily scratchy until you rotate them back and forth a few times.) Right now, none of the potentiometers are scratchy – it’s just a warning about what happens when you ship an item like this.
I have spare CEM chips for the keyboard – I will list them, and if you buy this keyboard, I’ll point you to the auction. The re-engineering by Lintronics ensures that this ‘board will be useable and useful for years to come.

Since you are looking at this auction, you probably already know what a monster synth this is. This was Robert Moog’s flagship analogue synth circa 1982 and has never been bested.
AutoTunes all 6 voices as expected. This synth is one of the nicest units I have seen, although it has one non-original knob and one ding in the plastic faceplate near the Osci 3 control (see photos) The original internal memory data was lost, but I will include the service manuals with the factory presets, so that you can access them if you want. I did reinstall the first half dozen presets just to make sure they would hold.
I rescued the unit from Guitar Center as non-working, then after careful power supply alignment, all 6 voices tuned up perfectly. It has lived in my project studio since then. The unit does not appear to have been outside of the studio” Link

1.) The headphones knob is missing its cap.
2.) When plugging into the headphones into the headphones jack there is hum. The synth tech this would take a bit of work to fix and I decided to leave it as is.
2.) One of the buttons, which you can see in one of the pictures I posted, will not turn off. The reason this was not fixed when I serviced it was because the part is scarce and the tech could not get a hold of the part.
3.) The pulse knob on osc 1 seems to be bent/slanted, but works nonetheless.

This is an auction for a Memorymoog Plus vintage analog synthesizer in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. This is a solid built synthesizer with one of the most durable and beautiful boutique looking exteriors. This synth was designed and manufactured in the USA. If you are checking this auction out, you most likely know what the capabilities are of this synth are and how much potential it holds even in a modern recording setup. This synth has XLR output and built in midi functionality (i.e. Memorymoog PLUS) for superior recording capabilities. In fact the functionality of this analog polysynth is almost second to none as far as 80s polysynths went. The features this synth has far exceed those of say a Roland Jupiter 8, having a built in sequencer with full clock control, interactive LED display, intuitive functionality, and a slew of extra modifiable parameters. Also, as you can see, the frequency knobs for two of the oscillators have fine tunable potentiometers, which are a feature that you do not see very often and reinforces the point that this was Moog’s last synth creation from the original company, and that they pulled off all the stops to develop this machine. This is one legendary synthesizer and can create some of the most miraculous analog sounds from gurgling basses to enchanting strings. There are even a couple of well programmed choir patches that will blow you away. “MEMORYMOOG + , USED vintage analog 6 voice polyphonic synth with 61 keys, no velocity or aftertouch,100 patch memory and MIDI circa 1982-83. The serial # is 3676 manufactured probably in 1983-early 84. No real issues with this MEMORYMOOG, no cracks anywhere in wood panels slight cosmetic scuffs here & there. No broken or missing knobs/controls, no dead keys or voices, and all 6 voices are tuned properly with the auto-tune. All sections function including all 18 VCO’s and the VCF/envelopes for each voice, the VCA, the LFO and the arpeg/sequencer work fine. New battery installed when I bought the synth about two years ago. NO MODS, synth is all original to my knowledge, previous owner used this synth in his smoke-free home studio, for over 10 years, I am the 3rd owner of this particular synth as the previous owner bought it from the 1st owner who bought it new. One of the 4 rubber feet on the bottom is missing and was that way when, I bought it. Not mint , but very nice/clean condition for a 25+ year old vintage MEMORYMOOG. “For sale, a used Moog brand Memorymoog electric keyboard synthesizer. All photographs and the video below are of the actual synthesizer for sale in this auction. I don’t know anything about synthesizers and I am not the original owner of this one. I turned it on to see if it works (see video above) and cleaned the exterior. I am told by the original owner that this synthesizers has been in storage (in its original box) for the last 15 years. He also tells me that one of the oscillators is out of tune.
Upon auto-tuning, I was only able to get the message “4 TUNED” (see photo) instead of “6 TUNED.” The original owner told me that this problem may be fixed by simply replacing a capacitor in the oscillator circuit, and has highlighted the appropriate component in the service manual. Finally, the memory battery is dead.

“This is an auction for a Memorymoog Plus vintage analog synthesizer in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. This is a solid built synthesizer with one of the most durable and beautiful boutique looking exteriors. This synth was designed and manufactured in the USA. If you are checking this auction out, you most likely know what the capabilities are of this synth are and how much potential it holds even in a modern recording setup. This synth has XLR output and built in midi functionality (i.e. Memorymoog PLUS) for superior recording capabilities. In fact the functionality of this analog polysynth is almost second to none as far as 80s polysynths went. The features this synth has far exceed those of say a Roland Jupiter 8, having a built in sequencer with full clock control, interactive LED display, intuitive functionality, and a slew of extra modifiable parameters. Also, as you can see, the frequency knobs for two of the oscillators have fine tunable potentiometers, which are a feature that you do not see very often and reinforces the point that this was Moog’s last synth creation from the original company, and that they pulled off all the stops to develop this machine. This is one legendary synthesizer and can create some of the most miraculous analog sounds from gurgling basses to enchanting strings. There are even a couple of well programmed choir patches that will blow you away. This synth works equally well as a polysynth as a lead monosynth and has the legendary Moog sounds that make it cut through and liven up any boring modern mix.” Link
