Der Moog hatte meines Wissens nach lediglich nur einen Vorbesitzer. Vor vielen Jahren habe ich den Moog inkl. Plus-Upgrade gekauft und nur im Nichtraucher-Studio benutzt. Das Tuning wurde damals bereits verbessert und stabilisiert.

Der Moog wurde kürzlich von X-TENDED vollständig und sehr aufwendig gewartet. Netzteil, Tastatur, Tuning, Kalibrierung, Wheels, Chips….wurden gecheckt und ggf. repariert bzw. ausgetauscht.

Die originalen wackligen Wheels wurden z.B. gegen neue stabilere ersetzt und das Pitchwheel wurde im oberen Bereich um eine Rückholfeder bereichert.

Das Tuning funktioniert einwandfrei!

Die Tatstatur wurde vor Jahren bereits vom Service gegen eine invertierte ausgetauscht.

Ich glaube, das gibt es so oft nicht!

Auf den Kang und die Möglichkeiten des Synthesizers werde ich nicht eingehen müssen. Der für mich beste polyphone analoge Synth überhaupt!

Das Instrument wird umständehalber in liebe Hände gegeben.

Der Moog steht im Großraum Berlins und sollte nach Auktionsende abgeholt werden. Versand ist prinzipiell auch möglich. Die Versandkosten wären allerdings auf Grund des Versicherungswertes sehr hoch.

“Here is a MemoryMoog Plus that has the LAMM upgrade. It was upgraded in 2006, and while it was at Rudi’s shop, he asked if I wanted to upgrade the LED’s to a brighter red. I asked if there were other colors, which he replied ‘yes’, so I went with these ultra cool blue LED’s. Mainly, so I would be able to tell the two MM’s apart, but also, it looked really cool. This is a very expensive upgrade that adds reliability, as well as other functions to this amazing synth.

This Moog has one known issue:

The alpha-numeric 7 Segment LED display sometimes won’t display the left portion of the left display, which can make it difficult to tell patch 68 from patch 58 etc. The current picture shows all 7 segments of the LED working properly. The problem is intermittent. I do not solder so I have not fixed it.

This machine is in fantastic shape, time capsuled in storage for almost 19 years and had very little use I am the second owner and it was bought while MOOG was still in business but close to the end. I immediately bought a second hand MemoryMoog case and have always kept it that case ever since and when out of the case it was used in a nonsmoking environment. This instrument is the later model 345P not the older “A” model and should have all of the factory updates. It has very little wear as seen in the photos and only suffers from the little use it has received from storage. I hate to giving this instrument up! For those of you who don’t know about this keyboard, it is a great all-around analog poly synth – it’s extremely warm, fat and sounds amazing. It was produced from 1982 – 1985, although the “plus” models were manufactured in the latter half of this range. It is like having 6 Minimoogs in 1 machine, and that is how it was originally advertised – although it’s voicing is slightly different and fatter. It’s a 6 voice polyphonic synth. Each voice consists of 3 oscillators, one of which can go to low frequency, an additional dedicated LFO with multiple waveforms and modulation routings, filter, 2 envelopes, oscillator sync, noise source, additional modulation via vco 3 and VCF envelope, monophonic unison mode (HUGE!), arpeggiator, hold mode for 1 finger chords, etc. Best of all, its programmable so you can write your sounds to memory and recall them with the push of a button. This synth can produce most analog sounds you can think of, and does it better than most other synths, plus has that classic Moog sound. Great for strings, bass, brass, funky and crazy synth sounds and more.

Another important side-note: if you purchase this, be SURE to let the internal fan on the bottom left of the keyboard “breathe” unobstructed when operating. This is probably one of the most important nuggets of wisdom to be aware of to preserve the life of this synth.” Link

ADDITIONALLY – All ribbon connectors and sockets have been upgraded to gold-on-gold connections. This is extremely important. Factory tin connections are prone to corrosion due to age and repeated heating cycles inside the case, creating stability and reliability problems. The MTA connectors are also replaced with gold headers.

The synth has been completely recapped (all the electrolytic capacitors replaced) This is also essential for a synth of this age.

The synth has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, including key contacts and has been professionally calibrated.

Cosmetic Details: As can been seen in the photos, it is in outstanding condition overall. There are a few very minor dings, and a little tape residue on the underside(bottom) of the board, otherwise this is one of the cleanest memorymoogs you can find.

If you’re interested in this board you probably know what it can do, six superfat voices, with three oscillators per voice! Classic moog sound. This plus model has factory midi, and sequencer onboard.

It was just gone over by a former moog engineer (me) and is working perfectly. Cosmetically it is near-mint. Small scratches along the top edge of the aluminum. Light scratches on all the black keys, I think from the foam in the road case. Solid walnut wood work 99/100. Knobs, buttons, and graphics all perfect.

I purchased this new and it was used in a few attempts at bands that never made it out of the smoke-free basement. It has been stored in its road case ever since.

Includes custom heavy duty anvil flight case in decent condition. Some tarnish on the metal and some scratches.
