“this synth is in amazing condition for its age (1974) with very minor wear the keys and action are in near mint shape and all functions and electronics are working perfectly.” Link
This synth powers on, produces a signal, but it definitely needs a full servicing/cleaning. There are 2 screws missing on the left panel, as well as 2 colored knobs on the front switches (see photos).
37 keys, measuring 29 1/2″ x 10″ x 4 1/4″
Featuring dedicated sliders for low and high pass filters. 2 sliders for ADSR and a switch for each separate effect. Quickly change octaves/waveforms with the 2 large knobs.
I can’t emphasize enough what an incredibly cool piece of history this is.
All knobs and switches are original!
Very buzzy and raw tone. Smooth leads, harsh gurgly basses. ” Link

“I’ve had this keyboard since it was a baby, back in the 70’s playing in a rock n roll band. It’s a great little keyboard for reproducing a classic moog sound like the end of Lucky Man by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. The AC cord is attached and can be store in a box in the back. The synth has been in storage for about 20 years. I have played it and like I said the main oscillator works fine. If you have a little electronic experience, this keyboard is a good buy. All in all it’s a classic synth, a good addition to any rock band. This unit is sold as is.” Link
The synthesizer has been well taken care of and spent most of its time shelved in
professional smoke free studio.
This is the “Rare” two oscillator version of the Korg 700. Fully functional, everything works,
photos show the cosmetic condition. The faceplate labels are all clean and easy to read;
the color knobs are clean with bright colors, and the chrome knobs are all in great condition.
The wood ends are solid, but scratched and scuffed. One of the sliders is bent and one has
a slider cap missing. The slider could be easily bent back into shape and a Roland Juno
slider cap can be installed, but I didn’t want to mess with it because it works fine.” Link
“his is the two oscillator version of the Korg 700. Fully functional, everything works, photos show the cosmetic condition. The faceplate labels are all clean and easy to read; the color knobs are clean with bright colors, and the chrome knobs are all in great condition. The wood ends are solid, but scracthed and scuffed. The metal case is very sturdy, one of the rubber feet is missing and there are some areas where a painted label has been removed. One of the sliders is bent, two of the switch knobs are bent, one slider cap is missing. None of these items affect the operation. The slider could be easily bent back into shape and a Roalnd Juno slider cap can be installed, but I didn’t want to mess with it because it works fine. Overall this synth is sturdy, works 100% with no issues and I will guarantee it will be fully functional. ” Link
“Here is a used but cared for Univox Mini-Korg 2 model 700 synth for sale. This synth has become quite popular because of its organic sound. This synth works great and is in good condition for its age. ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
“You are looking at a Vintage Univox Mini-Korg K2 Analog Monosynthisizer. I purchased this new in 1976. I’ve used it on the road and in my studio. The Mini-Korg was used by bands such as The Cars, Human League and Stevie Wonder. It features 2 oscillators with a variety of waveforms, an excellent sounding dual VCF, plus several modulation controls, including 3 ring modulation settings. The K2 is one of the 1st synthesizers to come out of Japan (designed by Korg, released by Univox). This synth is missing half of one key and the music stand. Minor wear, normal for its age. Modulators have been cleaned. Every feature is fully functional. Volume slider was slightly scratchy, but cleaning eliminated the problem. Comes with its original padded cloth case. Contact me with any questions. Vintage, Classic, Collectible.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
” Vintage Korg K2 Not working being sold for parts or restore. Comes with schematics and Service Manual. Would love to keep it but I need the money. Cosmetically it’s not too bad it’s missing a slider knob cover for the pitch control and missing two keys. There is no reserve on this so highest bidder takes it.” Auction ended. “lots of paint wear …well used …untested ..power lite comes on …..As is Sale …PARTS ….Univox Mini – Korg …K 2 …..Big Auction Discount ….” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
It’s missing one slider cap.
Woods sides are in need or refinishing or replacement, but are still usable.
All functions are as they should be.
I didn’t clean or spray anything in the faders, but I’m sure it could use it.
It is a great piece of analog bliss, but I have to let it go.
Couple this with a tape delay or spring reverb, and you have yourself some magic! Believe me!!
Paint wear around the main volume fader is the most notable, but there’s also little scratches all around it.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Univox Mini Korg K2
Missing one key and one knob but otherwise seems to work fine. I am NOT a keyboard player so I have no working experience with this keyboard. This keyboard does have a few nicks and scratches but is structurally fine.
This keyboard will be shipped in what appears to be it’s original case minus the original foam lining which did not age as well as the K2 and case.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
“Description: We have here a Univox Vintage Rare Mini Korg 2 K2 K-2 700s Synthesizer. This vintage keyboard is in good condition for its age, though the wooden casing does show some damage (as shown in photos). This keyboard has been tested and works, though the power light does not turn on.
Dedicated sliders for both low and high pass filters (called Travelers)2 sliders for ADSR and a switch for each separate effect. Quickly change octaves or waveforms with the 2 large knobs. The only thing that may confuse people at first is the uncommon names Korg gave each effect. Things such as Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release are called Percussion and Singing. It may take some getting used to.
Kinda went over it’s main features above. However, it has a few other interesting features including:
Repeater – repeats the note based on the speed slider, very good for bubbly and strange sfx
Bender – pitch bend at the beginning of each note played
Expand – which allows the envelopes to effect the filter
Bright – which adds more resonance to the filter
Vintage 1974 instrument with nothing besides audio output” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“FOR SELL HERE IS AN AWESOME ANALOG SYNTH. HUGE SOUNDS!! STORY: This is a KORG/UNIVOX MINI-KORG. THis is KORG’s first synth released in the early 70’s, the MINI-KORG 2 being released in 74. Obviously, this is KORG’s reaction to the MINIMOOG (MINIKORG). This is a fully analog, 2 VCO analog synth from that wonderful era. I found this guy under a pile at a guitar store and restored it the best I could. I cleaned all the pieces and took some contact cleaner to her. I cleaned all the key contacts too! That took care of most of the scratching, but there are still one or two issues. COSMETICALLY.. this synth has been out of the house some. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES!! The top knob control for the effects/ ring modulator is missing, you have to turn it by hand or find another one. The keyboard has one broken key and one key that is broken underneath and in turn, does not travel straight up and down. There are a couple of cigarette burns from a cig laid on the keys and ignored. ALL THE KEYS TRIGGER THOUGH!!! The front control panel is scratched up pretty bad, and the power knob is broken off. Its pretty heavy, so I have turned it on and off with a screwdriver or a car key. You could use a finger, but its kinda tough. The bulb under the power lamp doesn’t work. I got to it, but it is soldered in, and I didnt want to mess with it. It very well may work with a new bulb. The wood panels are pretty beat up. There are some cool things. though. The door on the back that houses the cord when not is use is there and fully functional. The back of the unit is pretty clean so this would look find from the audience of a show. The two-prong power cord looks original and far from dry rotting. Inside the synth is a yellowed sheet with lots of Japanese writing on it, thats always a plus. FUNCTIONALLY– This synth sounds like a beast. DO THE RESEARCH AND SEE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THESE BASS MACHINES. All the sounds are awesome and easy to get to. This is the perfect synth to sit on a piano or organ and still reach the controls and play. There are some small issues. The effects modulations all work. The ring mod settings are kinda strange, but one sounds like a classic ring modulator. The filters are controlled horizontally and these two faders work great. VERY COOL to control the LPF and the HPF at the same time. FIVE octaves from which to choose, very easy to get from a bass sound to a screaching lead. 5 waveforms…kinda. I don’t think CHORUS I and CHORUS II are waveforms, but KORG threw them in here. The sine wave only outputs a weak, faint sound, not in a sine wave way, in a “something’s wrong” kinda way. The CHORUS’s here are awesome, no detuning oscillators, just flip a switch. CHORUS two is pretty wide and kinda does that old KILLERS thing! All of the modulations tabs work except one. This synth has some really cool features here. “BEND” scoops up to each pitch played, even when the previous pitch was higher. ALSO “REPEAT” does just that. Something triggers that oscillator and the speed is controlled by the yellow fader on the right. REALLY COOL. The vibrato works, but only with the on/off switch on the top panel. The width and speed faders still control the parameters though. The portamento does not work on this. Kind of a bummer, but you can do a PORTAMENTOesque thing with the BENDER effect. Also in the highest octaves, you can barely hear a lower octave playing along, but would be inaudible in a track. ALSO.. the high and low outputs seem to have slightly different timbres. I would try both. TO ME.. the essence of an analog synth is the sound of the oscillators and the Low Pass Filters. This synth knocks this out of the water. INCREDIBLE analog sound. I wish I could keep this one, but I bought it to sell it. I have a MOOG SONIC SIX, and a ROLAND JUNO60 and couldn’t really justify keeping this since I’m not playing live much anymore. This one has a few small issues, but will do the MINIKORG thing for you.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
