“The KAWAI K3 is a wavetable synthesizer. It has 32 waveforms some of which are acoustic instruments like piano and percussion as well as other unique waveforms. By combining two of these waveforms you can create new sounds or add a twist to traditional sounds.Whats really neat about the K3 is that it has analog filters and envelopes so it sound might be digital at first but gets warmed going through the filter. “Here is a KAWAI K3 synthesizer from 1986. It is in excellent physical and functioning condition and includes 50 sound patches and the original manual. There is 1 minor issue with the keyboard. The very last top “C” key, sticks when you press it in and it stays stuck down until you pull it back up, it just doesn’t spring back up like the rest of the other 60 keys. This is probably an easy fix for a repair shop. That is the ONLY issue this synthesizer has. “Vintage Kawai K3 Synthesizer in very good condition. Nice hybrid digital/analog synthesizer; velocity sensitive 61 note keyboard. One key sits about 1/8″ higher (B above middle C), but does not affect playability at all. The membrane over two of the switches is missing, but this is not a true membrane where the switches are inside the film, but rather a cover over actual switches, so it is still 100% functional (see second picture).
