“This is one of the greatest vintage synthesizers that was ever made. I’ve owned it since it was brand new back in 1983 (give or take a year…I’m old and losing my memory a bit. lol). It’s never been used outside of my smoke free studio.

Looks good, sounds great and is perfect working order. I hate to sell this but I’m doing guitar music exclusively now, and simply don’t need it anymore. ” Link

“This classic Juno-60 is in excellent 100% full function condition. Cosmetically, this is a clean machine!!! This is a well taken care of synth with only very minor wear from normal use. Includes owners manual, Roland EV-5 volume pedal and a Cascio pedal switch. As an added bonus we are including a padded flight case. The case has some minor wear but is still very sturdy and will protect this amazing instrument for years to come.” Link

“Happy New Year and welcome to my auction for my Roland Juno 60.

I’ve had this for 8 years but has been hiding in the loft for 4 years since i discovered guitars.

Just had a play to make sure everything is working properly and kept going for 2 hours. Loads of fun and absolutely amazing sounds.

All of the sliders and buttons are intact and work as they should. There is a midi reset button that has snapped off at the back but is still operable but I’ve never tried the midi connection, just straight through an amp.

It’s in great condition and i’ve only ever played it at home. It comes with the box and will provide ample protection for posting.” Link

Sold for spares / repair. Some keys are intermittently not responding quickly enough and the contacts will need to be cleaned or possible replaced.
All of the sliders work, though some caps (covers for the sliders) are missing – this does not effect the functionality. We can not guarantee that all functions are working as they should, though the Juno is operating to a reasonable level. Our technician has discovered the battery on the motherboard had leaked resulting in some anomalies out with the usual operation. Some patches are self-editing also, and producing some psychedelic noises – very usable – but clearly this will need some TLC and a service. So, we are selling for spares and repair, without return. The keyboard is in reasonable cosmetic condition ” Link

“Today I am auctioning off my Roland Juno 60 Analog Polysynth. There’s not much than needs to be said about the Juno 60. It sounds great and can be used for anything… Bass, stabs, strings, swells, noises; literally anything. This one works quite well except a couple things i’ll list here: the DCO slider near the bitch bender is not responding, some of the buttons in the top right section either need to be pressed hard or do not function (these buttons represent stuff that is not vital to playing the synth, stuff like the tape backup and a few of the preset buttons, all of the buttons to change the sound work), the bender tip is snapped off (yet it still functions. in actuality I like it this way better as it feels more like a regular bender), and the sides are painted grey by the previous owner, so I covered them with wood-panel contact strips. None of this stands in the way of really playing the synth so I’ve never bothered try to work these problems out. The synth can be controlled either via the built-in keyboard or through DCB.” Link

“Roland Juno 60 analogue polyphonic synthesizer.

Highly sought after and beautiful sounding analogue polysynth. Unfortunately this example has seen better days and is showing her age. Functionally she is in perfect working order having just been professionally serviced by synth tech’ James Walker so you can rest assured that everything works faultlessly.

Cosmetically she could be better, the paintwork is rusty in places especially the modulation panel to the left of the keyboard and the rear panel has been roughly overpainted. The veneered end panels are very rough. There are two keys that were replaced and so are whiter than the rest. Some of the keys have scratches and there are scratches here and there on the main panel (see pics).” Link

“Up for auction is a classic Juno-60 synth. I purchased this unit when Roland first introduced it. I used it in my studio for about 2 years and packed it away for over 20 years. It was never used on a gig. Except for a couple of minor dings on the side panels, this unit is in near mint condition. Everything lights up and works just the way it’s supposed to and the analog sound is amazing. I opened the unit up to show that it was stored properly…no dust and no corrosion. Since I don’t use it, I’d like to find a nice home for it. This instrument deserves and needs to be played.” Link

“Key contacts cleaned
All buttons and sliders sprayed inside with contact cleaner
Lithium battery replaced with socket and cr3032
Wires from transformer to circuit board resoldered
New all Wood Red mahogany stained side panels installed
Front wood strip stained to match
Areas of black on keyboard touched up then sanded. Triple clear coat applied.

The inside has been cleaned well and painted inside panels. The main flaw here is several rough areas on the panels that were sanded and painted over. This includes some of the letters on the backside. The synth will remain shiny as you see it in the photos. There is no oil or other chemical on it to make it shine, this is the high gloss clear coat. They show up under above average light. It shows no signs of chipping or peeling and seems to be bonded really well. With the clear coat on the synth, it looks nice other than the above imperfections. All the buttons work but a few might require a little more push than others, but nothing alarming. So, this is not a collectible museum piece but it’s a nice Juno 60 that you can have a lot of fun with. All knobs and slider caps present, although two not showing in the photos because they have been ordered and will be here within a week. If for some reason they are not here at the time the Juno is sold, I will send them separately.

The sound is amazing and the synth is a Joy to play! I have quite a bit of time in the restoration of this Juno 60. The wooden sides alone took several hours to make and perfect for a solid fit. I cannot offer returns due to some buyers swapping parts for their bad ones.” Link

“Up for auction is a vintage Roland Juno-60 programmable synthesizer. This juno-60 is in good overall condition. This auction includes the keyboard only. The power plug on this unit is made into the synthesizer. This unit has some scratches and some chips in the wood. There is some peeling of the wood finish. There are a couple of scratches on the keys. This unit has been tested by me and is 100% working condition. The colors are bright and overall this synthesizer looks to have be taken care of. I did a small amount of cleaning, mainly to remove some of the dust and dirt and grime. It could use more of a professional cleaning. I especially liked cleaning all the garbage pail kids stickers off of it. Please see pictures as they describe this vintage gem better than I can. I will carefully package and ship. This is a vintage instrument so if you are not familiar with this unit please do the research and make sure this is the type of unit will be compatible with your needs.” Link

“Among the first in Roland’s amazing JUNO family! Six analog voices of polyphony and patch memory storage!! This JUNO-60 is in great shape–sounds great, and comes with the original owner’s manual, and with it’s own durable nylon carrying bag (not shown). It does have one crack on the high E that was repaired. I have done many shows and recordings without it ever being an issue.” Link

“The best sounding Juno synth ever made! It just sounds fantastic. I will add a link to a short video I made demonstrating its fully functioning condition. I just have to wait for it to upload to youtube first.
It isn’t in shiny new showroom condition, but EVERYTHING WORKS! Patch memory is good, all sliders and buttons work just fine.
A couple slider caps are missing, but the sliders are still totally easy to use!
The pitch bender broke at some point, but it still works, you just have to slide the roller part left or right.
You can do it if you like, but i’m not going to jack up the price just for that. Anyway, I just sync the arpeggiator up with my 909 or 707 ( you can use anything though, even a rimshot sound).” Link

“Title: AWESOME SOUND: used ROLAND JUNO 60 – GREAT COND.

No Other Sound Like It

This synth IS the exact model of synth played by 80’s greats such as Duran Duran, The Cure, Flock of Seagulls, Ultravox, Eurythmics, Enya, a-ha, Billy Idol, Howard Jones, and by modern bands like Air and Fountains of Wayne. The sound is like no other – warm and rich, no fake 80’s sounds here folks!

History & Condition

I’ve had this gem since 2000 and it is in great condition. I used it only for in-home recording and it never went to a gig or on a field trip. It is in 100% working order with perfect sound. Other than some scratches, every button, lever and plug-in works perfectly. I’m a guitar player, so this was used quite infrequently. ” Link

“You are bidding on a Roland Juno 60. It is in very nice condition. We replaced the battery (see pic) and reloaded the original patches from an original factory cassette (unfortunately the tape is not included in the auction. It is our only original copy). All of the key contacts were cleaned along with the J-wires. The unit has been fully tested and is in 100% working order. The Arpeggiator works perfectly. Cosmetically I would say it is an 8. It is in very nice condition but there are a few small scratches that do not show up very well in the pics. (I want to make sure we disclose everything in our descriptions.)” Link

“For sale is a Roland Juno 60 with Kenton Midi interface. The battery for the Juno was just replaced. Everything in good working condition. Cosmetically the Juno looks Great it has some scruffs on the wood side panels but that’s just part of it being a vintage instrument. Besides the panels weren’t originally made with the best quality wood to begin with. It includes the Midi interface. Trust me, you will need it.” Link

“I am selling my very used but working Juno-60. This unit powers up and all the presets work. The sliders are a little scratchy and could used to be cleaned. On the DCO and HPF the SUB OSC & FREQ are a little sticky but work (need good cleaning). As you can see, two keys are broken (but working), bender stick portion is broken (but working), key transpose button is missing, power cord is missing ground (easy to replace) and the VCF switch is broken (needs to be replaced). Its not pretty but you will be able to play and use most functions. A great beater or fixer upper. Awesome synth! Selling as is.” Link

“This synth is generally in good working order and good condition considering this is a 30 year old keyboard.
The volume knob is a little scratchy, but works fine otherwise. A few of the sliders are a little dented. The wood sides are slightly damages, revealing the plywood beneath the veneer (see the pics). In addition, the left output jack was damaged, BUT I had it fixed and it works perfectly now.

This synth has recently been serviced by Atomic Music in Beltsville, Maryland. It is in good working condition and will arrive in working order. Otherwise, I offer no warranties. This is a thirty year old synthesizer. Juno 60′s are pretty stable for their age, but like any other vintage electronic instrument, it needs to be treated with care.” Link

NO MISSING PARTS OR NON WORKING CONTROLS, NO CRACKLY POTS OR SLIDERS

WILL BE VERY SAD TO SEE IT GO BUT WILL NEED THE MONEY EVEN MORE LATER IN THE YEAR SO RELUCTANTLY DECIDED TO SELL

IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS I EXPECT YOU KNOW WHAT THESE ARE BUT IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFO YOU WILL FIND LOTS OF INFO ABOUT THEM THROUGH GOOGLE

IT DOES HAVE A CASE THAT HAS JUST BEEN USED FOR STORING IT DURING THE TWELVE YEARS I HAVE OWNED THIS ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT AN ORIGINAL ROLAND CASE AND THE HANDLE IS NOT VERY BALANCED AND THE ONLY PLACE FOR THE MAINS PLUG IS ABOVE THE KEYS BUT IF THIS IS SENT WITH A COURIER THE PLUG WILL BE WELL PROTECTED TO PREVENT ANY DAMAGE TO THE KEYS.” Link

“Hi everybody, you are probably familiar with this fantastic piece, so i will only try to describe its condition, i posted some photos that covers every angle, its scratches scuffs etc (only on rare panel, front and sides are beautiful) as well. this works great flawless as new, no single problem with this, the case is included but looks poor cosmetically as of its age and usage,” Link

“The JUNO-60 is still popular due in part to opinions that it sounds better (punchier) than the JUNO-106. . I have owned this synth for over 20 years but, haven’t recorded much in the last 10 but, powered up as usual and the MD-8 box did what it’s supposed to via my LOGIC sequencer. Not pictured but, included is the original Roland JUNO 60 Owner’s Manual.” Link

“One owner (guitarist) from new, home studio use only, hardly used in nearly 30 years. Fully working and in as near ‘mint’ condition as you can get. There are no discernible marks, scratches, dints anywhere!!! This is probably the best Juno 60 you will come across. Also included with it’s original Roland Operation Manual and Cassette.” Link

“Very rare you will see this pair sold together. Selling in full working condition my Roland Juno 60 + the Roland JSQ-60. I have .pdf manuals I will include on a disc. Power cord could use replacing at some point but is in fine working condition. Small blemish on 1 key shown in picture gallery link below. Serial numbers below.

Juno-60: 332889
JSQ-60: 372084

Sorry for the no bay history as I had to create a new account, I can assure you this is not a scam. These items are from my private production studio and are in full working order NO DOA’s. I have a full company website you can view to confirm who the gear is coming from if your are a bidder.” Link

“Roland Juno 60 Analogue Synthesizer in full working condition. Some minor aesthetic damage to the woodwork on underside due to the age of the synth but in perfect working order. It’s a great synthesizer with incredible depth of bass and timbre, however I need to sell it as I’ve just bought a house and need the money.

An additional extra is that I am selling it partnered with a Kenton Pro Midi-DCB Converter, allowing the Juno 60 to also be used as a control keyboard for midi input. The Kenton pro is approximately £150 new.” Link

“Wow! This thing is in CrAzY good shape! I bought this with the intent to store it for a few years but I want a moog and need a new bass so I’m selling some stuff. This thing is amazing as you can tell from the pictures. Looks like it was bought and stored for 29 years. Even the case is in really good shape and I’m pretty sure it’s been sitting in this case since 1982. Like al Juno 60′s it sounds AMAZING! also like all Juno 60′s (Or any synth over 20 years old) the battery is dead! Wah Wah. Don’t worry I ordered a new one from Allen over at SynthSpa. I haven’t put it in because this thing is untouched so I think i’ll leave that to the new owner (I don’t want to strip a screw or anything) Anyways… You can’t save presets and the ones on there are garbage for the most part….You CAN load presets, they just won’t be there if you turn it off and back on again. Everything works and sounds wonderful.” Link

“If you’re looking at this, you’ll already know what a brilliant bit of kit it is. I’m very sad to see it go but I no longer have the space or the time to give it (house, kids etc), so it’s ready for a new home to get more use.

It has had one careful owner from new (i.e. me) and has only been for home use, meaning it’s never been gigged and is probably about as pristine an example as you’re likely to find. About the only signs of age are some discolouration of the white patch buttons, a very small scratch on the 0 of the 60 top right, and a couple of tiny dings on the right hand wood end.

It has moved house with me several times so the manual and original data tape are long gone, but I think these are pretty easy to come by if you need them. ” Link

“This outstanding Roland Juno 60 is in great condition for it’s age. These are very sought after in the music community and is by far the BEST synthesizer that Roland ever produced.
Was purchased in the 1980’s with one owner (me), comes from a smoke free recording studio, and works ALL THE WAY AND SOUNDS GREAT!
This Juno 60 has been used less than 80 hours total, well taken care of, and has NEVER been on the road. Don’t let this get away from you if you need this hard to find board!
Manual is included on floppy disc. See pics.
Slight scratches & wear. There is a noticeable scratch on one of the keys, please see pics.” Link

“Vintage Roland Juno 60 analog poly synthesizer in great physical and working condition, sounds awesome! Has a couple little stickers that could easily be removed if desired. From closed studio sale.” Link

“You are looking at a used Roland Juno-60 Polyphonic Synthesizer .

First of all, let me point out the bad news. As seen in the pictures, one of the keys is broke. It still works. Second, as seen in the pictures, the lever that was on the bender wheel is broken off. It still works also.

The ends of the wooden case as well as the bottom are all scratched up.

There are some scratches and marks on the face as well.

The good news, all keys work. I am not a keyboard player but I have a 65 watt guitar amp that I plugged this into and at low volume on the amp, and maybe a bit less than halfway on the keyboard, it was LOUD! All functions that I tested seemed to work, I messed around with it for about two hours and I am sure I didnt find all of them. Banks 1 through 5 and patches 1 through 8 all had their own distinct sound. A couple of the sliders have a bit of static when adjusted.

Also the power does not look to be the original.” Link

“You are bidding on a Roland Juno-60 Synth that I picked up in a boutique shop in 1997. I’m not sure of its age but I would place it early 80′s I guess. I have had this unit since then in a controlled studio environment. I have used it to record on numerous occasions and it has been on the Nashville studio tour a few times. This unit has some flaws that go along with it’s age. The wood panels along the side are chipped and in used condition. Three years ago while playing with it I somehow either cleared out the set storage bank, hit a reset, or some internal battery died because it lost its presets (which I never used anyway). Now all the channels in the banks come up with no sound until you engage the switches. The apreggio button works fine as well as the chorus. This is the only flaw to it’s functionality as far as I know. This may be a quick fix or not, as this unit used analog tape as a backup storage. Small chip in one or two keys, and some more cosmetics you will see in the photo. The High Pass Filter and Res levers are missing their plastic knobs .I am not a keyboard expert and am selling this unit as is (functional to my knowledge). ” Link

“In very good condition. Physically shows some signs of use, some dings and scratches, as well as a few bent or chipped knobs. The tip of the pitch bend wheel has been broken off, but works fine. Overall physical condition is good though. The keyboard is very sturdy and powers up fine and sounds incredible. There is a very *faint* analog signal bleed that you can hear when no notes are pressed, it changes according to whatever last note or patch you were playing, more apparent on some patches than others, but always very quiet and in the background. Also, some of the black keys are more loose than others, in other words, they move to the left and right more if you grab them and jiggle them, otherwise they operate fine under normal use. All in all, this synth is in great shape. If you’re looking for that classic phat, hair raising analog sound, look no further. ” Link

“This item is a Roland Juno 60 Analog Synthesizer with JSQ 60 Sequencer. The Roland Juno 60 is one of the first analog synthesizers of its kind, which has made it highly sought after by collectors and musicians that appreciate the fatty vintage analog tones. The gem of this purchase is the JSQ-60 sequencer that samples and loops patterns from the Juno. The JSQ allows for on the fly overdubbing, pitch shifting, and editing.

I have had this Juno for five years and it has spent most of its time under a blanket in my studio. I snatched it up right away because I had never before or since seen one still with the JSQ partner component. While it might seem sad, it has never seen a live show while with me; I have only used it for recording. Everything is in working order, all the: keys, LEDs, knobs, and faders. Other than a few cosmetic flaws such as dings in the wood siding and two missing slider caps this synth is tip-top.

“For your consideration is this vintage Roland Juno 60 analog synthesizer. This particular example, serial number 356333, is in good vintage cosmetic condition and recently underwent an extensive servicing to make it work perfectly. I am offering this great analog synth with No Reserve, which means the highest bidder will win regardless of price!

As briefly mentioned above, this particular unit was completely serviced in early May 2011, and it now works perfectly. Cosmetically this synth is in good-to-nice condition. There is expected wear from both use and storage; chips and de-laminating of the faux-wood side panels, small dents in the control panel and back panel, scratches on the keys, (5) missing slider tips and some extraneous dings and minor chips. Other than that this example looks nice and sounds incredible! All the buttons, sliders, keys and LEDs work perfectly.” Link

“You are looking at an absolutely beautiful Juno 60, for it’s age this model is close to flawless. It sounds perfect and is completely working all knobs sliders and faders are 100%. The wood is very clean has slight wear on the edges but it is really near mint. I would have to say it is one of the cleanest on ebay. I had a Juno 106 which is essentially the same but the components inside are not. The Juno 60 sounds much richer and thicker as I have compared the units side by side. Would not be selling this if I was not in need of the money 8(” Link

“YOU ARE BIDDING ON A ROLAND JUNO 60 6-VOICE PROGRAMMABLE ANALOG POLYPHONIC SYNTHESIZER. THIS ONE HAS REALLY BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND LOOKS BETTER THAN MOST SEEN ON EBAY RECENTLY. “Hello!. you are bidding on a Roland Juno 60 Synth & Roland Piano Plus30, together in the same deal! NO RESERVE!!
I bought both of them a few years ago for a restoration project but never did it, both of them turns on and has sound although i only tested them with the headphone output. Both synths needs cleaning on volume knobs, makes noise when turning up and down, but when you find the level they both sound great!! the piano plus30 arpeggio function knobs are a little lose, the screen on the juno 60 is broken and the numbers don’t show as they are but the banks work fine, i am not sure if all of them works though, but some of them do, the juno 60 has a few keys missing as you can see on the pictures, and a couple of buttons are missing too, they have been in my closet for more than 4 years they where full of dirt before i took those pictures, so honestly i do not know if they are going to work perfectly, they have been laying around too much time, thats why i am selling them AS IS with no reserve price, returns not accepted for this item,..Enjoy these Classic Synths!!! =) ” Link

“I’m sadly, after nearly 20 years of owning and loving her, selling my beloved Roland JUNO-60 synth. As we all know, this is a remarkable instrument that is among the legendary synths of history. If you’re looking at this auction, I suppose I don’t have to go on about it. Everyone has heard this played on dozens of hit songs and albums, and if you’ve ever played one, you know what you’re in for.
It’s in physically excellent shape; not beat up at all. I guess it’s a little dusty…I’m a better musician than housekeeper, I suppose. The only cosmetic issue is how a moron player I once allowed to play it wrote the note names on each white key: “A”, “B”, “C”, etc…although I still have the Anvil case from it’s road days, it’s been used in my home studio only for nearly 15 years. No smoking, never spilled on it.
I have one known issue to report: one pushbutton doesn’t work; it’s the one in the bank of three that you use to back up your presets to tape. The one titled “Verify”. This button is used to compare the tape backup of your presets to what is on the synth. I realize it’s a valuable function, but in all honesty, I didn’t use the tape backup function of the synth even ONCE in the 20 years I owned it. Outside of that, everything works very well. A couple of the preset selector buttons take an extra and/or firm push to operate, but they all work. They probably need a little cleaning underneath; I did it once myself, years ago, and it completely cleared up the issue; I’m just not equipped right now for doing fine work inside a synth.
Also included is a very high-quality hold/sustain pedal. Also included is a printout of the User’s Manual, which is also downloadable in PDF form: (http://media.rolandus.com/manuals/JUNO-60_OM.pdf “ Link

” As you see prices of Juno 60s seems to continue to rise and most of these are selling for over $1100-$1400 plus shipping. (Even if auction has started at very low bid).

So to save time for you to get one faster I have listed auction for three days starting at a modest price. Good working condition photos shows lights are on and working. This has been a workhorse and has some show of use. There are some scratches and wear so please Look at photos because this unit is sold as is and I tried to list every thing that maybe a concern to you.

Two keys you may want to replace and I have seen them sell for around $10 on Ebay. One looks like maybe a small cigarette burn not sure of other. Other wise all parts are attached (no caps missing). Great addition to have for that retro sound.

Comes with Hard shell case (WHICH IS PRETTY HEAVY MAKING SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST HIGH ) handles on case had broken not too crazy about the replaced handles but you may like them. Besides I am sure you are more interested in playing the Juno 60 anyway. Also the electric 3 prong power plug someone cut off ground prong no big problem to ground. Comes with original cable that goes to amp” Link

“Roland Juno-60 Analoger Synthesizer Kult

Link
