sx2000 “Jen sx2000 monophonic synth from Italy amazing analog sounds fat and rich in tone, these synths wipe the floor of modern digital imitators, the chips are the same as farfisa organs also made in Italy.” Link

” Jen SX2000 synthesizer. Cosmetically condition is good for its age. Front is missing one red button. Some scratches on panels. Volume slider sticks slightly when in use.

When plugged in and turned on red light illuminates but synth produces no sound. I don’t know why this is and as such I am selling as not working.” Link

“This auction is for a hard to find authentic vintage synthesizer, The JEN SX-2000 SYNTHETONE!
It functions well, is in great working condition. A few notes:

It was recently serviced but still needs to be tuned.
Power cable casing is frayed (shown in pic above) but works fine.
A few keys need to be pressed slightly harder than others to trigger.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Sie bieten auf einen defekten SYNTHETONE Synthesizer.

MANUFACTURED IN ITALY BY jen ELETTRONICA

MODEL SX-2000

Production: 1978-1982

Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Up for sale is a genuine vintage Jen Synthetone SX2000 Synthesizer. These were made in Italy from 1978-82. There is alot of info online about these and their features if you wanna know the details you can check all that out, BUT if you are looking here you probably already know what it is. It is old and cool and makes some really crazy sounds. I listed it as a project, because as you can see it is old and worn and I’m sure needs some electronic cleaning and tuning up. I plugged it in and it powers up and I plugged it into an amp and it makes sounds. Beyond that I am not sure what all it needs. For example the sliders are all real stiff and you can see from the pics that some of the buttons are broken off and need replacement, but we all know some contact cleaner will probably get it going again. Looks like the plug was replaced. Like I said I’m selling it as a project because I know synth people are picky and I want to avoid disappointment on the front end. You can see from the pics it is old, worn, scratched, etc.–but it is 30+ years old! ONE MORE TIME, JUST TO BE CLEAR, THIS IS BEING SOLD AS A RESTORATION PROJECT IN NEED OF REPAIR, NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Every key is working despite the holes that can be seen underneath some of the keys as in the photos. All the presets are working too, but the synth doesn’t sound every time you hit a key. This is obviously a fundamental fault and the synth cannot be used properly in its current state. I want to sell it to someone who would know how to repair the synth and get it back into full working order.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Hecho en Italia hacia 1978. Funciona perfectamente. Sintetizador analógico monofónico. Lleva una serie de presets con sonidos de la época y luego una sección de sintetizador para usarlo al estilo de un sinte monofónico tradicional. Estéticamente con alguna rayadura pero en buen estado.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Here we have an old Jen synth from the 80s. The Jen SX2000 synthetone had presets and a certain amount of flexibility to create some interesting noises. See the link for more info. This Jen is in pretty good condition considering its in its 30s! Its got gaffa tape marks on it and a few screws missing, also one of the red preset button caps is missing other than that its all there. All the keys work and the knobs make appropriate noises although the off preset switch turns everything ‘off’ – I assume thats what it should do? The envelope sliders don’t seem to do much but everything else seems to work. I’m selling as a project as I think a bit of TLC is in order.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
