E & MM Spectrum “It looks like this model is quite rare as i cant find any on line for sale, they were built around the late 70s early 80s.
It would make a great project for a Synth buff.
We found this when doing a loft conversion and as you can see from the photos it has a layer of thick dust that we have only removed from one area to show the model so as not to cause any damage. As you can see it will need some TLC. ” Link

“E&MM Spectrum Synthesiser.. Vintage retro classic analogue synth.. Lots of knobs, which route knobs to other knobs. All the knobs work fine, the sustain knob is broken off at the stem, but there is enough there to turn.
The LFO seems to click in time with the osc speed, there is no click when the knob is turned off, but I’m not sure if this is a parameter that is just routed incorrectly.. there is a faint background hiss, but i think this is due to age or being dirty inside. The keys also have a slight click when pressed, but once again i think this is just down to being dirty.. When i used to sample this key board, i would just edit the click out.. It makes some proper dirty noises, most suited to techno and hardhouse. It has 3 jack outputs on the back, no idea which does what, and the unit can be controlled with the interface, which i have no idea how to use, or even if they work,, I’m sure they will as it seems to be a robust keyboard.. The 3 red lights still work and flash when they are supposed to..
It has chipboard wooden ends, and the main knob fascia is metal.” Link

“E&MM Spectrum Synthesiser, built as a sound module with no keyboard, was originally a kit built in the late 1980’s contains Curtis cems for vco’s filters and envelope generators, one of the most best analogue synths i have ever owned, quite similar to a pro 1 but more versatile,” Auction ended.
