“For Sale is my Yamaha DX7 in very good condition!!!, everything works perfectly on it. The synthesizer has been fully tested, detailed and cleaned, battery has been replaced and is ready to go. I have owned this for years and bought this almost brand new. I toke a great care of this synthesizer over the years and I have been keeping it clean in my home studio over the years. All of the keys work 100% perfect and have a very nice feel to them. This DX7 is like new on the inside all the dust has been blown out and it has been cleaned with special electonic cuircuit cleaner. Out of the DX7′s that ate out there this one is in very nice condition despite it being from 1983. Yes it has some surface scratches mailnely on the sides and bottom due to normal wear and tear but it is nothing to be too concern about. All of the buttons and etc work 100%.

The keyboard has a GREAT feel for a synthesizer, and is full of classic 80s sounds used in countless musical, movie & TV recordings. All of your favorite artists of the 80s & early 90s had a DX-7 in their studio!
The unit is tested and 100% working. The only problem is the power cable’s shielding is slightly torn where the power cable leaves the unit. However it has been tested and does not cause any problem at all such as turning the unit off. You can easily tape it with electrical tape if you like, or if you want to get fancy you can open it up and alter the wire. Either is easy and very inexpensive, or you can just leave it as is.
Aside from that this one is in excellent shape, there’s one small but noticeable scrape in the top left corner and as usual light scuffs and scrapes on the bottom. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this unit.
Includes 2 cards, one is a Data RAM and the other is ROM #3 “Voices”. These cards alone go for $30-50 each sometimes on eBay so now is your chance to get a truly CLASSIC synth w/extra sounds at a good price. ” Link

“Ein.. nein DER Klassiker! Ich denke ich brauche ihn nicht zu beschreiben. In unzähligen Musikproduktionen der 80er war er im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes “Tonangebend” und mit Digitaler Vollsyntese und MIDI den anderen ein großes Stück vorraus.
Zum Zustand:
Er war und ist kein optisches Sammlerstück. Er war mit mir “damals” auch auf der Bühne und hat diverse lacktechnische Gebrauchsspuren und Kratzer. Ist aber niemals gefallen und war bis vor einem halbe Jahr auch immer brav im Case (das Case ist NICHT Bestandteil der Auktion!). Display und alle Bedienelemente sind ok und funktionieren. Die Tastatur ist absolut in Ordnung und spielt sich immer noch gut.
Typischer Mangel: Die Batterie ist leer. Das bedeutet auf dem internen Speicher bleibt nix drauf. Macht aber nichts, denn es ist eine RAM Cartridge dabei. Auf der können selbsterstellte Sound gespeichert werden. Auch gibt es Software im Internet um einen Midi Dump zu erstellen. Ansonsten außer den optischen Mängeln voll funktionsfähig!
Warum ich meinen Schatz verkaufe? Ich habe immer wieder versucht ( auch mit anderem Equipment) wieder Musik zu machen. Aber ohne Band macht es mir einfach keinen Spaß mehr. Und für eine Band fehlt mir die Zeit..
