“ich biete hier einen alten Roland-Sequencer an. Hatte ihn mit meinem SH-5 in Bertrieb.
Funktioniert mit allen Synths, die 1V/Oct + Voltage Gate haben. Erstaunlich simple Bedienung. Anleitung und Service Anleitung sind dabei. Ab und an fing er ab und zu mal an zu flackern und die Sequenz stoppte, lief dann aber nach dem Aus- und anschalten wieder einwandfrei – darum hatte ich mir das Service Heft gekauft. Ich komme jedoch nicht zum Reparieren. Es ist mit ziemlicher Sicherheit irgendein kleiner Wackelkontakt. Es fehlten schon immer die 4 M3-Schrauben an der Frontplatte – vielleicht liegt es nur daran, keine Ahnung. Ich hab schon lange keinen Sh-Synth mehr, hier staubt der kleine Kerl nur ein. CV-Vierfachkabel gebe ich dazu. Wie gesagt: Das Ding funktioniert grundsätzlich, manchmal zickt er eben rum. Frauen sind da ja nicht viel anders…..” Link

Das sequenzen ist kinderleicht und sehr spontan über ein Gate/CV Keyboard, ideal für live und Improvisation. Das Format ist 1V/OCT und Gate ist +2,5V.

Man kann 2 getrennte Parts aufzeichnen mit mehr als 4 Takten, sie hintereinander abspielen oder je getrennt.

Repeatfunktion oder Oneshot, über ein CV/Gate-Keyboard kann man die Sequenz sogar transponieren, womit man viele Variationen erreicht!

Über den Portamentoregler kann man „dry“ aufgenommene Sequenzen nachträglich stufenlos mit einem Glide versehen und auch wieder ausblenden (ohne das man was verändert).

Temporegler und Metronom(ausschaltbar).

Ext. triggerbar mit der Stepbuchse durch z.B. Drumcomputer, dabei kommen wieder Unmengen von Variationen heraus, wenn man nicht bloß auf 8tel oder 16tel triggert, sondern z.B. mit der Bassdrum oder Toms. Da wird der Sequenzer mit dieser zweiten Sequenz aus dem Drumcomputer angesteuert, echt groovig!” Link

“One owner Roland CSQ 100 Digital Sequencer records and plays back sequences (up to 100 notes) in two channels (memory banks) either separately or chained together. Sequences can play back repeatedly or stopped and started to play live instantly. Made for sale in USA, this 110 volt unit records in real time or by step entry, allowing editing of the notes and rhythms individually. Metronome, portamento and on-the-fly transposition abilities via keyboard control voltage make this a great unit for live performance.
The first channel (memory bank) was factory loaded with a single note (E), but the second channel was blank. Having no battery backup, it would lose any data entered (except the factory preload) when it was powered off. Rear panel has CV/Gate in/out, remote stop/start switch and step entry/data entry jacks.
I bought this new in the early 1980′s with a Roland SH-2 synth and used it onstage and in the studio for many years until the synth was stolen… alas, I no longer have an analog CV/Gate synth to test it with. Works fine with all the Roland SH-Models (except the SH3) and other Synths which are controlled by volt/octave.

Works definetly not with the KORG MS-Series and Yamaha CS-Series.

“For sale here is the Roland CSQ-100 Computer Controlled Sequencer. This sequencer is in very good condition!! I have cleaned the inside, the buttons, and the CV/Gate in- and outputs. I also treated all contacts with Deoxit. All functions work perfect. It can be used with f.e. a Roland Promars (also for sale) or any other analogue synthesizer with CV/Gate.
For it’s age it looks very good. There are only a few minor scratches on the panel, but that’s normal for a machine of this age.

Up until recently I was using this nice little sequencer with my Roland SH-09 analog synth and it’s a great for jamming basslines, escaping computer based sequencing and for experimenting. It also makes a great envelope generator by writing in some changing control voltages and triggering it in ‘one shot ‘ mode and adding a little portamento.” Link

“You are looking at Roland CSQ-100 Sequencer. It is a computer controlled digital sequencer used for studio work or on stage. I have no way to test it so I don’t know if is fully functional so it is SOLD AS IS. It powers up, the metronome sounds only on low level & increases or decreases with the tempo knob. On the memory switch, the channel one LED lights up but not on channel two. The push buttons seem a bit yellowed, but the unit has no major scratches or dings and looks in great shape for its age.
