What’s wrong with this picture? Nothing, the module was built backwards. That is to say it works, but the pots are the opposite from the norm, so you turn the knobs in the opposite direction to get the results you expect. In other words, all the way up is actually all the way down. Got it?
I bought it installed in a rack of Blacet modules, and the seller never mentioned this little detail. The circuit board is upside down, so the connections are reversed, and the board component side is facing the wrong way. Oh it works and does everything it is supposed to, but you have to “think different” as we have been told by a guy who passed away recently. Here’s to the crazy ones!
So you have to be sure when you install it in a rack that you are not in the way of the module next to you, as the capacitors stick out the wrong way, as I have tried to show in the picture.
Or you could take it apart and put it together the right way, if you spend an hour with a solder sucker and soldering iron. The instructions are included for this purpose. The power connector is gone, but I will try to find it before shipping. It is the standard Blacet type cable.” Link

“This a an almost new Blacet Mini Wave Wavetable synthesizer module.
It was built from a kit by me and fully functional. It was only used long enough to verify all functions were 100% operational.
The Mini Wave is a wavetable lookup type module that features 256 different waveforms stored in a digital memory
arranged as sixteen “Banks” with sixteen “Waves” for each Bank. The selection of Wave and Bank is voltage
controlled.
Each waveform consists of 256 samples or steps that are output by decoding an input voltage or waveform. Using a
sawtooth input wave, the samples are output in sequential order, with the frequency tracking the input signal.
Using a more complex input waveform allows for non sequential sample output with a more “distortion box” feel.
A slow speed input waveform allows complex envelope or LFO type signals to be output.
The Mini Wave can also be used as a quantizer, processing control voltage inputs to only output specific steps of

“Years back I bought a final run of these boards that John was selling without faceplates. It is assembled and working, with a blank aluminum panel. If you want a professional look you will probably want to make a new panel, but this is the way my whole synth looks. I switched the gate push button to a toggle switch and also did the Mod #3 which gives you an output of the noise clock to run other modules – a great feature – which requires cutting a pcb lead before assembly so you cant get this on a production model without doing some surgery. one pot has a stiff spot but the rest are smooth and they all function fine. Das System ist ca 2Jahre alt und wurde von mir Neu gekauft.
Es wurde wenig, und nur von mir persönlich in meinem HomeStudio benutzt. Daher kann ich Ihnen auch einen neuwertigen Zustand garantieren. Ich verkaufe das System darum, weil ich mich immer mehr für alte akustische Instrumente interessiere und nicht mehr so auf der Elektronikschiene fahre.
