“This ASR-10 has just been checked out by our technician. It was occasionally acting upon power up. The problem seemed to be from a loose connector on the digital board.
Sometimes it does not display ( insert OS disk) when powered up. Please let me know if you have any questions.

This ASR-10 is in great condition. It only has a few minor marks on it. I have the original operation manual, the Service manual.
It will include the OS disk, and 9 Sample discs.

This ASR-10 does not have the SCSI port, but it does have the S/PDIF digital in and out.

“et me start by informing you that this ASR-10 stays in self-test mode after being switched on (all LEDs lit, as displayed in the first picture) and is being sold AS-IS. This unit worked perfectly before leaving it, unused, for about a year. I went to power it up a few days ago, only to find it would no longer initialize the boot sequence. As anyone looking at this knows, this is not a cheap unit and is an awesome synth, when its working. The unit does display characters (according to the self-test chart) as control panel buttons are pressed. I’m guessing there is a problem with the digital board, but I don’t have time or money to invest in it. So if you have the resources/skills, my loss is your gain. Cosmetically, this ASR-10 is in really good shape, with just some minor scuffs and scratches. The unit has been upgraded with 16 MB of memory and no other add-ons have been installed. Additionally, the left channel main output jack has been missing since I purchased it. I’m not sure why it was removed, but both jacks support stereo output when not using a mono plug, so using a stereo quarter inch plug will yeild stereo output from just the right jack. I was unable to find all my sample disks, which I think were mistakenly discarded.” Link

“Im sellling my Ensoniq ASR 10. I recommend this item for serious and experianced producers that have knowledge of the keyboard. Along with the ASR. Im including 3 operation manuals, SCSI ZIP drive and SCSI CD ROM drive. The zip drive has a disk jammed inside and CD ROM drive doesnt have a power cable. Thats why im including them as bonus items. I am also Throwing in a worn, but Excellent working MX-8 Digital Music Corp Programmable MIDI Patchbay – Yes it shows some wear on the top – But It works great – and I have had it my Rack system for years.

The keyboard has no oil marks around the buttons and the print labeling on the keyboard is in very good condition – ALL BUTTONS work great, NOTHING BROKEN – And the Display is strong and nice and bright!

The Unit itself is a 7.5/8 condition wise (I only make this comparison with against Other ASR 10′s) that I have seen or Played – And Yes, This Unit does have some nicks, scratches and a little wear & Tear, but Overall you will be pleased with the condition. It was primarily used in a Community College recording studio – The Date is 11/19/97 on the back serial # (That is important, as it was one of the very last ASR-10′s ever built). These keyboards do run hot to the touch on the bottom so it is advised to run it in a cool room or studio -
