“I’m selling a vintage (circa 1979) ARP Quartet synthesizer in excellent condition. It is totally operational and has strings, brass, piano and organ functions. The Quartet comes complete with a trunk style case (see pictures) suitable for air travel. ” Link
“Up for regrettable sale is my ARP Solus synth. A vintage rarity!
30 Years old and in pretty good condition 220/240V. Some of the sliders crackle a bit, but this can be expected from an ARP this old – a blast of compressed air would probably help.
The original slider caps fell off/broke some time ago and have been replaced with “Tic Tac” style caps. The keyboard bushings were replaced a few months ago, and also given a service… stays in tune and sounds great!” Link
“For sale is a vintage Arp Odyssey MkI rare white face version analog synthesizer. It is in excellent condition, fully functional. The keys are level and trigger nicely. The sliders are mostly smooth, some are still a little stiff but all are readily usable, they certainly aren’t impossible to move like some old Arp Odysseys are. Missing a few slider caps. It sounds incredible, lovely Arp tone.” Link
“Vintage Arp Axxe Analog Monophonic Synthesizer. This instrument is fully functional and in very good cosmetic condition. Only issues of note are the colored slider tabs have all been lost/removed (cosmetic only) and 2 of the sliders could possibly use cleaning/lubricating as they have a slight bit of static-type noise in a limited area of the slider range when moving in real-time. Overall this is a great sounding/looking synth from one of the poineer companies of early synthesizer technology.” Link
“Arp Odyssey in great physical condition. It is a black and gold Mk I as far as I can deduce with CV/ Gate in and out and audio input. Looks incredible for its age. Could stand an internal cleaning and calibration, though. Seems to keep in tune, but has some scratchy sliders. Upon thoroughly checking it over I found that its biggest issue was that the LFO sine wave would not modulate VCO 1 (square wave worked fine). All other mod sources/ destinations seem to be fine. Sounds Mean As Balls. ” Link
“This Odyssey is fresh from SynthGuru Kevin Lightner. Someone had modded it before and added some jacks to the rear to give it some modular capabiliies, but it has been restored to spec, and sounds incredible. I have the Oddity virtual synth, and while it sounds good, this thing blows it away through the PA. Believe me when I say, nothing beats analog! That is a fact. Anyone who tells you otherwise, has never heard real analog. It is time for me to move on to other things, so I am selling my vintage synth collection. Keep watching for some more cool goodies, coming very soon! When is that last time you have seen someone rock out on stage with one of these bad boys? Probably, Gary Numan. Why settle for a Phatty or Nord Lead, when you can have REAL old school analog for about the same price, and you can not go wrong, this has been restored. This is some kick booty analog goodness, I just ripped some bass on this about 10 minutes before I listed it. You can even ad MIDI to it, if you want to.” Link
“The Solus for sale here is in very good condition both functionally and aesthetically. There are only just 1 or 2 pin prick marks in the tolex, and very very light scratching on the control panel and keys. All of the sliders and slider caps are present. The biggest aesthetic issue I’ve noticed is two missing screws on the bottom tolex. This does not compromise the strength of the case whatsoever and screws should be easily replaceable. The sliders all glide very well without any stickiness or static, the VCOs are stable and in-tune, the VCF and VCA are quiet and precise. Everything functions beautifully as it should. You can see and hear this Solus in the second video– I just wanted to quickly demonstrate that it sounds great and plays well. The first video is one I fould, and gives a longer and more detailed demonstration of the capabilities of the Solus. Good luck, this is a very rare specimen of a superb, well designed and constructed vintage analog. ” Link
“you are bidding on an Arp Odyssey 2813 synthesizer seen in pics. i bought this from the original owner who was a local musician a few years back with plans on having it completely restored. i never got around to it because there are no good techs within hours of me. i can’t see any reason to let this sit here for a few more years. in addition, i have two other odysseys – an earlier model with the ‘illegal’ moog filter and a later MKIII version – hence the sale.
please note: this unit will need some work. it powers on as seen in the last pic but will not produce sound. it could be something simple or something complex, i do not know. it has never been to a tech to test or diagnose. several of the slider tips are broken and will need replaced. the kybd gate switch under the adsr is missing as seen in pic. the unit has some scratches and general wear but is in pretty nice physical shape as seen. i am selling it ‘as is’ and as seen with no returns. bid as a restoration project. ” Link
“I have an Arp Explorer 1 Synthesizer. Also known as the ARP 2900.
I’ve owned it for about 5 years and it’s always been good to me.
The sound is real 70′s. Herbie Hancock used this on Headhunters.
From what i’ve heard, it has one oscillator from the Arp 2600, and the filter is the Moog lawsuit type.
Nice and fat, warm sound, and quite a diverse range for such a simple synth.
The oscillators can be stacked and waveshaped with the toggles to get a thicker bass.
It has filter/pitch lfo, portamento, adsr assignable to the filter and amp, cutoff/resonance.
The back panel has only two jacks, one for 1/4″ audio out, and one for a standard 3 prong ac cable.
It has all the things you would want in a basic synth. very usable. stays in tune.
Great lead synth, very musical sounding and always sits nicely in a mix.
I personally love how all the performance controls are under your left hand,
which makes it easy to tweak parameters while jamming along.
I’ve heard these are very rare. The serial number is like 135 or something, a low number.
Condition wise, the thing is definitely used, but not so abused.
All the slider caps are missing, but all the sliders work.
Some sliders seem a bit stiff and could use some lube i guess, but they work and don’t crackle.
There is one toggle (the saw wave) that has broken off, but it still can be switched with a pen or a key or something. it works.
One toggle (the noise osc) has been replaced with a generic switch, but it works.
All the keys work perfectly. Actually every function works.
The paint for the parameter function labels is quite worn and somebody in the past
has written them back on in gold pen, which has also faded.
The Arp Synthesizer logo on the back is still bright, as is the Arp Explorer 1 logo on the front.
The wood end caps were covered with a tolex sticker which i removed to reveal nice wood.
All in all, the thing is pretty badass. I was using it in an electro project and it looks great on stage and gives forth quite a loud dirty bass that rips through the speakers. It’s fun to play for sure.” Link
“Here’s an Arp Omni Keyboard. I was able to plug this unit in and mess around with it to get some funky sounds. There’s scratches on the top, plastic tops cracked or missing on controls, and one key does not work as shown in the video link below. I’m unsure if all the functions work as they should, recommend a keyboard tune up, and am selling this as-is no returns. All that being said, I had fun making noises with this thing!” Link
“Up for auction is an ARP Odyssey MKIII. As you can see, it’s in great condition cosmetically, except for one minor flaw described below. I bought this used back in 1987 and since that time it’s been kept in my project studio and has never been on the road. Having said that, there are a few things potential buyers should know before bidding on this item. First, I just recently removed all the original slider caps in order to replace them with a new set. I have yet to put these new caps on; however, I’m including these brand new caps (34 in all, and corresponding to the original color schemes found on all Odysseys) in the current auction. These will be shipped in a small bubble mailer alond with the ARP itself. To put them on you’ll require a good pair of needle nose pliers, a few hours and a little patience. Secondly, the C4 key sticks when pressed down, but the key sounds the note perfectly. Thirdly, some of the sliders (perhaps about a third of them altogether) move roughly, though none are “scratchy; the sound outputhowever, is not affected at all. Lastly, the right leather side panel is slightly bent inward–this is virtually the only cosmetic imperfection on the synth itself. This model has the XLR out and CV ins/outs.” Link
“This glorious vintage analog Arp Axxe is the real deal when it comes to analogness. It is truly analog and we are talking seriously as it can possibly totally get analog. You just can’t get more analog than this thing. With voltage controlled oscillators, voltage controlled filters and voltage controlled amplifier with adsr control there is nothing digital about this beast.
The sounds this thing generates are beautiful. This is nothing like the moog it must be said and doesn’t quite have the richness or warmth of the moog but it is a different synthesiser altogether and the oscillators can be detuned to create delightful sound mixes but this is a much crisper and punchier synth than the Moog. It kind of cuts through mixes superbly.
The condition of this one is really good. It has recently had some brand new sliders fitted and these sliders are new from a collector who bought up loads of sliders just before arp stopped making these babies so some of the sliders are just beautiful. All the sliders work really well and this thing most certainly does not need a service.
The cosmetics of this example are really really good, I would call it excellent though one has to be so careful on ebay now because we sellers get crushed for nearly anything we say so I’m not taking responsibility if you don’t think this is excellent. I’m warning you that this is a vintage synth but in my humble view it is excellent. The wood ends are really really good with only very mild ware.” Link
“Atari 2600 with Synthcart synthesizer cartridge, two keyboard controllers, 1/4″ audio out and Highly Liquid MIDI aftermarket module! I purchased the Atari 2600 and MIDI module separately, had it installed by a licensed tech here in town. All the blippy, buzzy video game 8bit sounds are all here and controllable by MIDI. This is not software – this is the real thing and the difference is inarguably significant. Great for live performance as well.” Link
“Blacet research miniwave, with eurorack faceplate, and eurorack power conversion kit from Plan B.
No longer in production.” Link
“Listed is a vintage synthesizer—a Crumar Trilogy. Made in Italy in the 1980′s. It works. Also included is a reference manual that I downloaded off of the internet. It is in good condition altho’ there was some duct tape put on it at one time and then removed leaving residue as seen in the photos. I have not tried to remove it. There are a couple of scratches but nothing major. Also the screws are missing on the plug-on bracket(as shown).” Link
“Up for auction is most powerfull vintage soviet analog drum beatbox-synthesizer – FORMANTA UDS.
This drum synth has few scratches on body, but was professionally tested and it works perfect!!!
FORMANTA UDS has very powerfull and unique sound – it is convenient for creation of various analog drum sounds like bass drums, toms, snares, claps, hi-hats, cimbals, noises and various freaky percussions…” Link
“For your consideration is this vintage 1977 PAIA Stringz’N'Thingz 1550 analog synthesizer. This DIY kit is famous for producing great-sounding, super lo-fi, 70′s strings sounds. This great vintage bargain analog synth is perfect for synth enthusiasts on a budget, or those looking for a great “cheesy” strings sound.” Link
“For sale is a vintage and rare Emu Emulator III sampling synthesizer/keyboard. The keyboard is in nice shape. cosmetically very few issues, except the front overlay is very slightly warped (it’s hard to even see it in the pictures). There is also one small chip on one of the keys. Works quite well, though I have not tried every feature (there are tons of options, it’s a very deep machine.) These machines are old and must be sold as is. Great lo-fi sampling sound, similar to the Sp-1200. These were $14,000 back in the day and are still high end production machines, computers just don’t give you the same sampling sound quality that these can give you instantly. It’s like a day and night difference. I believe this one is the 4MB version.” Link

“This is a rare chance to buy an assembled, fully working 5U format modular synth. The modules are built into a sloping ARP2600 style case with corner protection and carrying recess’ on each end. Power supply is mounted internally. There is an internal CV/Gate bus which allows some basic normalisation which makes patching easier. There are some high res pictures here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/49982300@N06/
The full module line up is:
Noise & Filter, Envelope follower deluxe (with lag processor), Voltage controlled phaser, 3 VCO’s, Moog ladder VCF, 3 VCA bank, Sample/slew, Lag Processor, PolyDAC (4 Channel MIDI to CV converter), State Variable VCF, 2 LFO’s, Basic EG (AD/AR), 2 ADSR with VCA’s, Jackfield, Multimix, Output Mixer (with VU meter).
Some of the modules are mounted onto large front panels eg, Moog VCF & VCA bank are on 1 panel, also LFOs, EG’s, Jackfield, multimix, output mixer are on 1 panel.
The unit is fully working and sounds great! Really beefy sounds with the endless possibilities of a true modular synth. Also in my view 5U format modulars have the visual wow factor over the eurorack type formats.
Mains lead and some patch cables are included.
I would prefer collection of the synth. It is very heavy so I don’t think sending via post is an option. Also packaging the synth to prevent any possible damage in transit would be a lengthly job which I don’t really want to do, also on collection the synth can be demonstrated and some of the features explained (normalisation/CV/gate bus etc). ” Link
“Up for auction we have an Oberheim DX vintage drum synth. The unit is in excellent condition for the age, with very few marks to the controls and keys (pictured).
The controls, including faders and buttons, are functional.
The Oberheim DX has a selectable voltage internally on the transformer, allowing it to be used with 110v or 230v.
The unit has been tested and is in working order. Although all efforts are made to check our vintage synths for functionality, there may be some features which do not get a full test. Our synths are sold as such.
Original manual is included with this synth.” Link
“This is in great shape and works perfectly. Comes with the original power supply. Ready for bending! The instruction guide can be found on the web. The previous owner put stickers on the keys to tell you what notes you’re playing.” Link

“his is the same engine as the EMU SP1200, but with a lot more features. We own the SP1200, EII and EIII, and the Emax 1 is the warmest and dirtyest of all of them. You can get the coolest textures from the Emax 1. Something that cannot be done with any of the other Emu samplers due to the analog filters and adjustable sampling rate. If you want dirt and grime and character in your beats and tones, then you have found it with the Emax 1. Everything that you sample just sounds beautiful with this unit. You can really make some snappy snares and growling bass lines with this thing. Kicks sound huge and with huge bottom end. Artists tend to use the Emax 1 to process their sounds and then load them in their DAW, etc. Software can’t touch the organic dirt of the Emax 1, period.
Two common problems that plague the Emax 1 is that the floppy drives go bad, and the lack of an OS disk or the wrong one. This unit’s disk drive is working fine and we are including an OS disk. Everything works as it should. Companies like Kid Nepro and NorthStar are still selling samples on floppies for the Emax 1. The analog filters on these Emax one’s are thick and sick. The filters are so dark and dirty. No thin sounding VST can sound this way. If you’re looking for that darker Aphex Twin, or a fan of dirty beats or thick lush chords and leads, than this unit would be perfect for you. If you’re into ambient, drone, noise and experimental music you would love this board also. The LCD works fine, all the buttons and sliders are fine. All the keys work, and the floppy drives loads and saves samples and sequences. The unit does have scratches on the body like all Emax 1′s do. Also part of the clear coat has seen better days on the face. But this is only cosmetic. When you’re on stage or in your studio rendering tones and loops that no software can touch, then clear coat isn’t really gonna matter. But this is only cosmetic and not a functional issue. Scratches do not effect the sound and performance of this unit . There is one missing slider knob cap that EPR sells for $5 and they are in stock. And you can use the unit fine wtihout it. Regarding the clear coat…. a person can just rub it off with their finger and another coat underneath seems to be coming through. It’s cosmetic as we said, and has nothing to do how the unit performs. ” Link

“E-mu Drumulator drum machine for sale. I bought this a long time ago and I never ever used it! I was way to into my 808, 606, SC Drumtracks and DR660 at the time that I never bothered to learn how to use it. Well, I’ve had it my closet all this time and now it’s time for someone else that appreciates vintage drum machines to own it and use it. I fired it up yesterday and the drum track played and the pads played their drum sounds but I don’t really know what I’m doing so I can’t test it out completely. “Pretty amazing keyboard here. Very well made and durable. Just so you know Bob Moog had a lot to do with this company. I’m not sure about these models per say but Crumar made some amazing sounding organs and synthesizer at the time and a lot collectors attribute this to Bob Moogs touch. Got to meet him once, nice guy very into his craft! But that’s another story. Anyways, the keyboard is great very unique in that you can split sounds in two section (basically bass and treble clef) You can make it all even if you wish by setting everything thing identical. This would be great for a band with no bass player! Really an amazing sounding keyboard. It’s got really great sounds. Kind of 60s and new wave??!! Dark and rich and the perfect sound for anyone looking to get sounds via Kraftwerk, OMD, Joy division, New Order, this thing is AMAZING! There are 100s of combinations of features here and it would be impossible to sit here and check everything FOR 100% PERFECT FUNCTIONALY. It’s just not possible don’t bid if that is what you are expecting. I would say most (90-95%) is working. The keyboard itself is in great cosmetic shape.
Some of the sliders may need to get cleaned out but otherwise this keyboard is in great shape. I have to put these ridiculously gigantic disclaimers all through my ads now because of the last few keyboards I have sold. People seem to think that these keyboards were made last week at guitar center or something and expect them to work like a brand new reissue moog! bid on them and expect a refund when one little thing isn’t working! Come on people its vintage collectable gear. Problems should be expected.” Link

There is a part that broke off at the top left corner but this does not affect the playability or functionality of this keyboard. I am selling this keyboard to pay some bills. My loss is your gain, so bid today!” Link
