Aesthetically there are a couple things as you can see from the pictures. This synth is OLD. 35 years old to be exact. So one of the flip tabs has cracked, and it is missing some slider tabs on the left side. Also one of the rubber feet mounted on the underside of the synth is missing, an easy fix. “Up for sale is a 1976 Moog MicroMoog synthesizer. Cosmetically it is in great condition, besides a few small scuffs on the black plastic piece at the bottom left that are barely even noticeable. All knobs/sliders controls working just fine as they should, mod wheel works fine, pitch ribbon works but is kind of finicky. The problem with this synth is the output, it will work fine for a little bit (5-15 minutes usually) after you turn it on and then it will start cutting in and out for a few more minutes and then will usually not put out anymore sound until next time you plug it up. Maybe this would be a good project or something you could fix if you know how or know a good tech. It may just need a good cleaning, I don’t know. It sounds great while it’s working though. ” Link
“Moog realistic concertmate Mg-1 project no reserve. A friend of mine gave me this a few years ago, he got it from his high school. I had plans to fully rebuild it but never got around to it. When it was assembled it played alright and functioned somewhat well, but had some quirks and flaws but sounded hott and fat when working. I took it apart to clean all that nasty foam out and got most of it. the side panels are missing but the keybead and all the circuitry is there. “Well here it is, one of the rarest Organs/Synthesizers on the planet. The infamous Moog “White Elephant” it’s not really called that or anything it’s just given that nick name by collectors. Its real name is much more serious and boring: Organ CDX – 062 made by Norlen Music Inc based out of Chicago. It doesn’t even say Moog on the label, only on the panel itself! I’ve seen only 2 or 3 of these EVER in last 5 years, let alone for sale. This is pretty much the crown jewel of any Moog Synthesizer collector.
I’m not sure every feature works perfectly but then again I’m not sure I know how to use the thing either. There are two output jacks in the bottom I’m thinking that you are suppose to have them both plugged in? They don’t say anything but it may be UPPER and LOWER keyboards (or possible–>synth and organ).
May need a little TLC to get EVERY feature 100% working. Right now I would say most of the features work. I couldn’t get the draw-bars to happen and a few “sounds” did nothing? Problems are to be expected with a organ like this!That sold as is. ” Link

“Vintage analog Moog Mircomoog sythesizer in excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic condition (the only cosmetic flaws are two small holes pictured, one key sitting slightly higher than the rest, and wear on the ribbon pitch bend thing). The only functional quirks are that it sometimes needs to warm up to be in proper scaling. May just need to calibrate it, which is a DIY thing — there are holes in the back through which you can stick a screw driver & turn a little disc to calibrate by ear — though most of the time it’s perfectly scaled from the get go, and it keeps tune really well over time (rare for a moog). There is one mod done to this: the weird “modulation” jack in the back has been replaced with a 1/4″ jack, as I absolutely could not find an adaptor for the proprietary(?) original size (5/18″) jack that was there. This means that the moog can receive a third modulation source (in addition to the filter and osc mod jacks already on the back) and output its lfos as well. Interfacing it with my Doepfer rig was amazing — with the onboard mod, & different things coming into the three jacks, I could get amazing quad modulation going. The replaced jack is stereo like the original, so you need a stereo cord. Was going to set up two mono mini jacks (in place of the 5/18″ one) to be mounted in the two holes I pictured, but the holes I drilled were too small and I couldn’t rustle up a bigger drill bit. The mini jack set up worked great with my Doepfer; I just never mounted them. Also included are several male and female cinch-jones connections — one of which is mounted on a cord with an 1/8″ mono plug at one end — for using the s-trig ins and outs (the cord works great). Anyways, you may have guessed i’m not exactly an electrician, but the Moog is fine, clean, fully functional. Nevertheless, it’s sold as is.” Link

“I bought this Roland Jupiter 8 from Ko (Modeless Factory) in Japan in Feb 2009 and it has been sitting in my non-smoking room since. Before it was shipped out to me, the synth had been tested and serviced (all keys, knobs, faders and buttons are working fine). This JP-8 comes with some unknown MIDI mod (with MIDI in/out/thru) and there are also a couple of toggle switches on the left (between the “Volume” and “Master Tune” knobs) labeled “VCA” and “VCF” (I’m not entirely sure what these do but flicking the “VCA” switch up seems to very marginally increase the loudness of the sound). There is also a little red button next to the power switch and till today, I still haven’t figured out what exactly it does (some kind of soft reset or something? perhaps some of you might know?). I have been using it with my computer sequencer hooked to a MOTU MIDI Express and they work fine together. If you are reading this, I assume you already know what this synth sound like.
The serial number of this JP-8 is 090611 (as you can see in one of the photos below).
A couple of things about this machine which you should be aware of:
1. As you can see from the pictures, the silk-screening on this JP-8 has seen better days. There is, however, no rust anywhere on the body.
2. Since early this year, the “Memory Protect” switch seemed to have gone wonky insofar that the “Memory Protect” light is always on (even when the switch behind is set on the “Off” position). As a result, I’m unable to save newly modified patches to its memory though there is no issue calling up the patches already stored in there. Everything else works perfectly except for this saving issue. I don’t know what causes this and I would love to get it checked/fixed before putting it on ebay but the local Roland service center (in Singapore where I live) has stopped servicing analog gear since 2008. If you have access to a qualified synth technician, you probably would want to get this fixed.” Link

I’m not sure) which features a bunch of additional 1/8″ CV inputs (see photos below). I used these instead of the factory CV inputs with my Future Retro Mobius (also on sale) and they work like hand and glove. Comes also with a Boss power adaptor (100/110V) and a printed manual. I broke the battery cover one evening but I believe you can easily get it replaced if it is important to you. The serial number on the unit is 340300.

The internal sliders intact and can be adjusted with a small point (like a paper clip), replacements available online. The mono 1/4 inch outputs a little spotty on the output from time to time. It is in perfect working order. Comes also with a KIMA power adaptor (110V, 60 Hz, 9W, 500mA) that is NOT the original recommended BOSS PSA-120 series AC adaptor (120V, 60Hz, 8W, 9V, 200mA). The Boss was lost years ago. However, I’ve used the KIMA with no problems for a very long time. The MC-202 also comes with the original printed manuals (Owner’s Manual and “Synthesizer” manual).
