“The Moog Sonic Six is a 2-VCO duophonic synthesizer with a built-in speaker and a 4-octave, 49-note (C-C) keyboard. Each VCO can output sawtooth, triangle, and rectangle (pulse/square) waveforms as well as 2 “waveform generators.” A “quality” knob adjusts the width of the rectangular waveform. White or pink noise is also available. The Sonic Six can be set for 3 keyboard modes; high note priority, low note priority, or duophonic. The Sonic Six can also be set to an alternate tuning across the keyboard (different interval between octaves of the keyboard). Portamento rate is controlled by a knob. The envelope section features a basic envelope, with variable control for attack and decay and a switchable release (follows decay) and sustain. “Up for auction is a vintage Moog Taurus I bass synthesizer. If you’re looking at this auction, then you probably already know what this is. This has been dubbed the fattest bass synth ever built, and has been used by the likes of Rush, Genesis, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Weezer, and Mastadon, just to name a few. This unit has a low serial number of 1432. I just received this synth back from repair by Armen’s Musical Instrument repair, one of the few synthesizer repair shops that is endorsed by Moog. It has been calibrated, cleaned, and has a brand new power cable. The synth shows the usual signs of use, but is in great shape for a unit this old. Three of the plastic foot pedals are missing. I have seen pedal sets for sale on eBay twice since I bought this synth at the end of the Summer. If I was looking at this auction, I would be inclined to ask, “If they’re so common, why didn’t you buy them?” During the first listing, there was a pedal set for a Taurus II on craigslist for $100. I intended to buy that, take three pedals, and resell it. Unfortunately, by the time I contacted the seller, they were gone, and the eBay auction had ended. The second time they were listed on eBay, I didn’t notice until after it was over, and they were in the completed listings. It’s possible that more have sold on eBay in that time-frame too and I just missed them. The point is, that they’re not all that uncommon to find, so you can save a bit of money and replace them later. But, if you think you need the shiniest, museum quality gear to make great music, take a look at this photo of a little bit of the Chemical Brothers’ gear. The starting bid is how much money I have in these pedals. I bought these to use, but I’ve decided to put music on the back burner for now and focus on my screen printing business. This is a great deal on a synthesizer that I have seen sell many times for $3500+. This is one of the rarest and most desired of all Moog synths, and definitely the only bass synth you want to play with your feet. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper Taurus IIs, those are nothing more than Moog Rogues with foot pedals. If you want that real Taurus sound, this is the only way to go. “The Opus-3 is one great little synth. It was designed by Herbert A. Deutsch from Hofstra University who originally nudged Dr. Robert Moog into building synthesizers and later served as director of sales & marketing for Moog Music. Herb also wrote the owner’s manual. The sounds are broken up into 3 categories: Strings, Brass and Organ. Strings and Brass have their own separate VCF filter sections, the Organ section has none. The Opus-3 also has 2 sound outputs for an early stereo effect with panning! It’s a colorful little synth with clearly laid out sliders and is fairly straight forward. It has classic analog Moog sound quality and is a great source of some string and lower octave techno-organ sounds. It is used by Stereolab, Kraftwerk, Zonetech, 808 State and The Rentals .Has been in family for years and need to clear space needed , dont have the manuel but can be downloaded of the web” Link

on sale a beautiful MOOG MEMORYMOOG vintage analog polyphonic synthesizer.
This synth comes from the original 1982 US import serie and works natively at 220v EU voltage.
It comes complete of the original flightcase, the original user/service manuals and the very rare Moog 1120 Controller
Pedal which lets the user to control several synth parameters from the pedal.
This Memorymoog works perfectly and never gave me any trouble. Each autotune command ends up tuning all the 6 voices in a row,
which is a superrare thing when you have to be with this MM serie.
Not only: even though it’s used for hours and under different environment temperatures (such as private studios,on stage
and so on) it always behaves regularly and, so far, never went out of tune or doing weird things.
The cosmetic conditions are also very good,as you can see from the actual pictures: there are few minor marks over some keys
and over the metal case but nothing significant: the general state are truly 9/10 as it’s always been taken great care of.
The keyboard’ action is smooth as well as every button or pot. This synth sounds terrific and works great.
It’s a real pleasure to play and represents a solid investment for the future.
One curiosity: this actual synth has been pictured on the unfamous “A/Z Encyclopedia of Vintage Synthesizers” book written

“There is something about those phat Moog filters and circuitry that makes the Moog emanate a certain ephemeral sound. Bob Moog himself said he thought he somehow tapped into an mirrored the eternal vibration of nature with his design. I know that sounds kind of twilight zoneish but all you have to do is play it for awhile and you’ll soon be a believer. It’s a fantastic form of mediation. You can sit down an play it for hours on end. Soon you’re completely absorbed in the wash of sound. The persona is peeled back like an onion and the onset and subsequent dissolution of subject/object begins and Berber’s I and thou Nirvana is achieved. Then suddenly you’re yanked from the womb…your wife looking down at you…her hair up in curlers and those large pink fuzzy slippers on. She shouts “hey, cabbage for brains, how’s about getting the job at Meineke to pay for this like you promised.” Reality is back in all her cold and curious forms. Anyway, you sure aren’t going to find anything like this at Banjo center…expect to pay a bit more for that.
Cosmetically the instrument looks great except for where the control face plate has curled up ever so slightly on a couple of the corners (see pics). I sat down to test the instrument a couple of nights ago and everything seems to be in good working order.” Link
“This is a rare Moog Satellite synthesizer. There is a missing knob on the back and some wood glue visible from reinforcing the corners, but it’s in otherwise great physical condition. Operation wise, everything works well and it holds notes nicely, but the modulation does not work. It’s a successor to the Minitmoog and is a monophonic synthesizer with presets which can be changed with filter, modulation, LFO, and envelope. There really isn’t much else to say about this!” Link

“Up for auction is a Vintage Roland SH-1000! This synthesizer is in emaculant condition for its age.
This was Roland’s first marketed synthesizer circa 1973!
It has all it’s selection tabs and knobs, all functions operate flawlessly with the exception of the vibrato. The vibrato does come on and alters the sound but it will not adjust according to it’s settings. The two transistors used in this oddly made vibrato may be the culprit however, I know not where to find these transistors. So, the price reflects this. Everything else operates 100% and the sound is amazing! The oscillator will self oscillate as well when pushing the resonance of the filter! Nice! This is one machine from my personal collection and I would have kept it but I use the SH-3A far more.

I am the original owner of this synthesizer, as I purchased it new in Germany in about 1982
(I was resident in Germany at that time).
I only played this synth in my own home studio for recording sessions between 1982 and 1984 and it was never used live!!!
After that time, it has spent whole of its life in a closet up to today, because it was replaced by a Korg M1.

“Korg poly800 is neat old fat voice lead syth that can run on batteries (here the little door is missing, but you could get around that with a bit of ingeniuty). The korg has 2 modes – 4 voice and 8 voice mode. As you can hear in the link below the thing still sounds pretty good, and has a built in sequencer, and midi, but it does have an issue I couldn’t solve. In 8 voice mode it will drop a note. In 4 note mode, one note will be played with only one DCO, the rest with 2 DCOs. This is a digitally controlled 2 oscillator synth in the old school mode. Great 80s rock sound. Comes with a wall wart power supply. Even has a good headphone jack and stereo output. Pictures show condition – a few nicks and scuffs. Even has strap mounts so you can jump about like a spastic chicken on stage wearing it like a guitar.” Link

The little black knob is missing from the “joystick”, but the joystick functions perfectly. The flash made a glare off of the metal bars under the keys, in the middle of the keyboard shining between the keys. That is a photo illusion. The keys are perfectly fine, all level, and tight with clean response. Studio only for the 8 or 9 years that I’ve owned it. I didn’t use it much, only for certain songs. The sounds are fat. “It was taken in on trade and the keyboard is in overall good condition. I plugged it in and tried all of the keys and they all work. The high F and the keys to the right of it need to be adjusted. If you look in picture 3 the high F is at a slight angle and the other keys feel a little tight. They all went down and returned the way they are supposed to.

“This is a Yamaha SHS – 10 Keytar Musical Keyboard (manufactured by Yamaha and released in 1987. FM Digital Keyboard with MIDI. Features 32 minikeys and a pitch bend wheel, 25 different voices with 6 note polyphony, two operators, and a very basic chord sequencer. It also has a loudspeaker. It supports MIDI having a MIDI Out connector which allows the keyboard to control external MIDI equipment. It is 29″ long and weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. We are not musicians but did some research on this keyboard. The demo plays Wham’s “Last Christmas.” It is in very good to excellent condition. There is a battery cover but it needs a little help (small piece of scotch tape) to be secure. It also the strap with YAMAHA written in red and the strap pegs. We do not have the manual but it can be downloaded as a pdf file from Yamaha. We have put in new batteries and it works great.” Link
