It made very weird sounds as the video shows. My testing consists of powering up the unit. The program light came on . The incremental Control light came on . The Octave and the Mod Rate light came on. If you watch the video, you can see how I tested. Maybe I am not testing correctly. I don’t know.” Link

1 x Moog The Source

1 x Klinkenkabel

1 x Netzkabel

natuerlich die Bedienungsanleitung in English (leicht zu verstehen)

und die Schaltpläne

All functions work great and it definitely sounds amazing! There is one weird thing. While testing this unit I noticed that as the pattern runs through whatever red leds are lit up for the intstrument you have selected will emit a quiet audible buzz when the sequence passes by the light. I would just avoid this by not using one of the instruments in the pattern say the high tom for example…also, missing battery cover” Link tr606_2

Jupiter 8, Roland @ 20 September 2009, “No Comments”

jp8_1 “Serial number 151355, a Roland Jupiter 8 12 Bit version, (older). The previous owner added a modulation tuning mechanism which adds a nice effect. No broken sliders or knobs or missing buttons or dents or even major scratches. Plays perfect, tunes wonderfully and every key strikes as it should. Here is the cosmetic issue, the previous owner kept it stored for 20 years in a case and didn’t use it. The foam from that case wore some of the stenciling on the front and created a rough feel to the bottom and lower rear of the instrument. I never attempted to remove the material, (from the foam), but it might be possible. There is also a center screw missing from the facia. Why someone would not think about refoaming every 5-7 years is beyond me but the synth plays perfectly and I want to describe the cosmetic condition as well as possible. It will ship in a Anvil road case. In the bottom photos you can see the foam residue on the base and back bevel of the keyboard. When I rub it it does come off but I am not sure what is a safe solvent to use on the paint so I am not removing it. There is also two large wear spots from the foam on the front facia left and right and the lower left, (front).” Link jp8_2jp8_3

CMU-810, Roland @ 20 September 2009, “No Comments”

rolandcmu810 A thousand dollars? Seriously?

“ROLAND CMU 810 in MINT condition. The CMU-810 is one of Roland’s first Expander type modules. It basically has the same guts and sounds as the MC-202. The overall layout mirrors the MC-202 and SH-101 synthesizers very closely. Along the bottom row are sliders and switches for the Oscillators, 24dB VCF analog filter and ADSR VCA envelope sections. The upper row contains the LFO controls and a simple Mixer section. External audio can also be routed in (but not through the filter). Up to two external sources can be added and their levels mixed in. This is a rare but capable analog mono-synth. It can generate true MC-202/SH-101 bass sounds which have become very popular in electronic music. The CMU-810′s obscurity does not come with a heavy price tag either. In fact, they often make a cheaper alternative to the more common Roland bass/lead-synths. But you’ll need some sort of CV/Gate to play any sounds.” Link

Awesome Analog Sequencer that works with many vintage analog synths. This unit was custom set up to run midi clock/sync to a Roland Drum machine, (not included). I’m sure it could be tinkered with to sync with orther midi devices. AC power is for Euro 50hz/220 so a Euro to North American power adpter is needed. Sad to let this one go.

By no means in perfect condition. Missing one key and two sit high. Two slider and one switch cap is missing. (doesn’t affect movement) Has a fairly deep dent on the back (see pic).

A few sliders and switches are a little crackly and one slider almost hangs-up at times. (traveler 2 hangs-up see video) Not bad considering this beast is 30+ years old.

Wood sides are fairly warn.

proonede1 “Along with the Minimoog probably the best ANALOG MONOPHONIC: one voice of the Prophet 5.
An absolute classic by Dave Smith, will give you the baddest basslines and much more (thanks to its Modulation matrix).

Not only are you buying an excellently preserved instrument, but it also has been professionally SERVICED, all POTS were CLEANED, and the keyboard – always problematic with this model, was actually IMPROVED with new custom-made BUSHINGS made from silicone – now it is as quiet as it always should have been
For all this the labour cost alone was 250.- EURO. (Synth workshop “Schraub und Dreh” in Berlin)

This is a Prophet 5 and i am guessing you know what that is.I wont outline its specs but i will say its the rolls royce of poly analogues for me or one and its just a lush and creamy glamourous sounding device.Beautifull .This one is a stunning example i think , has the most beautifull wood tone and really is in stunning condition. All features are fully working , full midi and very reliable , it has recently been given the once over and fully serviced and updated to wine country specs ( the people who still support sequential circuits old products) so this is a fine example and not like many which need upgrades to the psu , this has already been done .No dodgy encoders , no bad keys .I cant say much more , if your after a p5 then the 3.3 is the best for midi and also with 120 memories it is really much better for dialing up those classic prophet libraries ( the 120 memories are loaded with the history of prophet 5 patches and are all instant classics from the factory presets ” Link
