“The KORG SQ 10 is an Analog sequencer made in Japan in 1978 . It’s a very good old-school sequencer . Designed for the MS series synthesizers and using Korg’s CV / Gate control the SQ-10 sequencer can really surprise you with some groovy basslines. Use the knobs to adjust and build up a sequence. When you hook that up to your MS-10, MS-20 or MS-50 you can get some pretty cool TB-303 like stuff happening. Because the SQ-10 outputs CV (Control Voltage) it can be connected to the Oscillators, VCF filters or LFO’s of your MS synths for even cooler tricks. Using a CV / Gate converter allows you to use the SQ-10 with other Roland, Moog, Sequential and even MIDI synthesizers. “I am the original owner of this wonderful synth. It has been sitting in a flight certified anvil case in a moderate-temperature garage for many years. It is cosmetically almost perfect, with hardly any scuffs or scratches.
“Up for sale is a vintage Korg EX-800 Programmable Polyphonic Synthe Module. This is essentially the rackmount version of the Poly-800. I have modified this synth with added control knobs for Filter Cutoff and Resonance (known as the Moog Slayer Filter Mod) as well as a knob to modulate the filter’s frequency via DCO 1 (known as the FM-800 Mod). This unit is in very good working condition. The filter mod sounds amazing and makes the unit capable of some serious speaker-blowing bass. The WRITE button needs to be pressed/tapped hard to register, but still functions. Number keys are a bit sensitive, but work just fine. Some blemishes & discoloration here and there, but nothing major. I have recently replaced the internal battery, so most of the patch bank is blank except for a few that I have programmed and saved since replacing battery. The new battery should be good for a few years. I do not have the rack ears or manual for this synth. I will include a compatible Radio Shack power supply.”

“Yes this is a genuine Yamaha CS80 CS-80 vintage analog synth synthesizer. It works perfectly, with one exception, which is that the light illuminating I string 1 does not turn on. The voice works fine, it’s just the little bulb inside the switch that is not in service. It is in very good cosmetic condition with some scuffs to the outside of the case. There is no aluminum support stand (which we understand was flimsy anyway). To make up for this we will contribute an extra-sturdy QuikLok WS-540 monitor stand, which is capable of holding the heaviest equipment (and upon which this synth has sat during our ownership). It does not have a flight case or a lid. The little music stand that may at one time have come with it has gone missing. We have had this synth for at least a decade. We no longer have room for it in our ultra-crowded electro-acoustic music sound stage. We are trying to create additional floor space to make it more practical for actual band rehearsals.”

Plenty of info about how great and punchy they are and how totally raw and fat the oscillators are, a singel voice of a prophet 5? no way! Much better. Anyways this is a nice synth, it is a jwire keyboard and all the keys work but there are a couple that need to be leveled to the rest of them and some double triggering so the keyboard action needs some work. This is common on these boards and not a big deal to fix up because it is a jwire baord. Both oscillators work great and overall nice condition there is some wear on the face but it’s a nice synth and wood ends are pretty nice. All switches work and everything pretty much works fine oscB knob is a little scratchy but still works.”

This keyboard is for knowledgeable collectors of vintage keyboards who can appreciate the historical significance, not to mention the unmistakable Fairlight sound. Very nice condition. Looks like it stayed it’s whole life in a private recording studio. Great as a performance instrument, spare, or for a parts unit. I do not know if the unit works though. I don’t have the any of the accessories. But the unit looks well taken care of and came with the road case, so I assume it is a viable unit, but I don’t know if the keyboard is functional. The inside of the road case is very clean, no mildew or other signs of antiquity. The keyboard came from the sale of a recording studio and it’s contents. I inquired about the accessories and was told that this all there is, the unit itself and the road case.

“This is an Oberheim DSX hardware sequencer. A really cool sequencing alternative to standard sequencing on a computer or keyboard. CV gate sequencers are tighter and more accurate than MIDI. It uses CV gate ins and outs for connecting. You can get CV to MIDI converters if you want newer gear to join in the fun. It’s Especially wonderful if you have older analog gear like a Minimoog, OB8, OBXa, Jupiter-8, Arp Odyssey, Modular synths, etc.

The initial foam put in upon the release of this unit HAS BEEN REMOVED! YOU READ THIS CORRECTLY!! Moog originally put a foam in the unit to prevent dust and other things from entering the unit. Over time this foam would turn into a tar like goo. THIS HAS BEEN REMOVED. I also took the time to get it serviced and clean up all the sliders. This unit functions like a charm. It comes with the original owners manual. I am selling this unit because I am not a keyboard player and am planning on purchasing a new guitar amplifier for my most current music project. Since I never played this very much, the unit is in fantastic shape.” 
“For auction here is the Moog Source which is fully functional. The touch pad still functions completely without any problems. This is a monophonic synthesizer that has fat low ends and shrilling leads. Unfortunately for myself, I am not much of a keyboard player and am parting with this unit due to the fact that I’m not very good at this particular instrument. Since I am not a keyboard player, this unit has been used a very minimal amount of times. I am selling this unit with the intention of buying another guitar amplifier more suited for my current music project. I will try to field questions as best as I know, but unfortunately my knowledge on these units at times are limited. What I can tell you is that each individual touch pad and roller works like it just came from the factory. Never tested the cassette settings, but I would bet it works flawlessly.
