“This is a Roland Drumatix TR-606 computer controlled drum machine. It is in good condition with all of the original knobs and buttons, but it will not power on so it is being sold AS IS. I tried powering it up with batteries and with an adapter and neither worked. It comes with the machine only. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask!” Link
“Here is a ROLAND SH-101. WITH GRIP CONTROLLER! It WORKS.
BUT – long time ago it tipped over and somehow the VOLUME KNOB BROKE. It still works and I have used it. I Contacted Roland about getting a new POT for the volume control, but they kind of just said “Bummer” , and I got no price or anything to fix it.
NOW, let me again say that IT WORKS, but the operator has to “Adjust the volume manually”. This means that if you put your finger in the spot where the POT was, you can get it to put out volume by just tapping the inside of the Volume pot shaft. MORE LIKE – put your finger in the hole, and wiggle and you get sound. A simple little mixer would fix your adjustment of volume and I would recommend that if you are to use this constantly. At one time I put some paper in the hole and put a piece of tape over it and it worked like that forever. (At one constant volume though, and I did have a mixer to adjust it.)
(see picture) I am going to keep it with the paper intact so as I sell it , it is working this way. You may know a better way to fix this problem.)
SO HERE WE GO – It comes with the grip controller. Maybe someone you know can either fix the volume knob, or just enjoy some Devo type of electronic keyboard pleasure. This COULD be sold “AS IS”but I am confident that if you read this and understand what is going on with the keyboard, you will still enjoy it, and any questions should be sent prior to its ending bid time. It will need a good dusting, but otherwise in nice shape. I have cared for it enough to finally sell it, and still bummed about the injury to it. Though it’s in broken/working condition, I know it’s a classic and a vintage piece of equipment.” Link

“This is a Roland AX-7 Midi Controller in Great Condition! Fully functional. Comes with a hard travel case, strap, 50 ft. midi cable, AC power adapter and original owner’s manual. Only blemish is a small decal that is partially rubbed off as seen in picture #4 above. Otherwise excellent condition. ” Link
“This ROLAND CR-78 COMPURHYTHM DRUM MACHINE RHYTHM BOX is in VERY GOOD cosmetic condition and perfect working condition. Also included in this auction is a printed hard copy of the users manual and a CDROM with the same users manual as a pdf so that you can read it on your computer. For a better idea of the cosmetic condition of the CR-78 please see all of the numerous images below which include overall shots of the CR-78 along with small details worth noting.
This CR-78 is in perfect working condition meaning all of the functions have been tested extensively and work without issue. This includes the five volume sliders, five switches, five knobs, thirty buttons on the front and seven ¼” jacks and one switch on the rear and the attached power cable/plug .
The overall cosmetic condition of the CR-78 is very good but here are the details worth mentioning and when possible I took close up pictures of those details. The top front and top rear corners of the case are slightly dull. There are a couple of dings and dents to the outer box. On the front face of the CR78 above the lettering for ACCENT and to the left of the ROLAND logo there are a couple of dings to the black paint. There are three tiny holes on the bottom of panel of the outer case. I took a picture and included a ruler for scale. This is purely cosmetic and in no way affect the machine. The holes are about the size of a nail. Lastly – one of the original white slider caps has been replaced by a red slider cap that is similar to the original and fits the slider stem snugly – a perfect fit.
These are images of the actual item (not generic pics off the web). There are a couple of images where the box and or parts look like they bow or are distorted – this is an effect of the camera lens – everything is perfectly flat and square.” Link

“FOR SELL HERE IS AN AWESOME ANALOG SYNTH. HUGE SOUNDS!! STORY: This is a KORG/UNIVOX MINI-KORG. THis is KORG’s first synth released in the early 70′s, the MINI-KORG 2 being released in 74. Obviously, this is KORG’s reaction to the MINIMOOG (MINIKORG). This is a fully analog, 2 VCO analog synth from that wonderful era. I found this guy under a pile at a guitar store and restored it the best I could. I cleaned all the pieces and took some contact cleaner to her. I cleaned all the key contacts too! That took care of most of the scratching, but there are still one or two issues. COSMETICALLY.. this synth has been out of the house some. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES!! The top knob control for the effects/ ring modulator is missing, you have to turn it by hand or find another one. The keyboard has one broken key and one key that is broken underneath and in turn, does not travel straight up and down. There are a couple of cigarette burns from a cig laid on the keys and ignored. ALL THE KEYS TRIGGER THOUGH!!! The front control panel is scratched up pretty bad, and the power knob is broken off. Its pretty heavy, so I have turned it on and off with a screwdriver or a car key. You could use a finger, but its kinda tough. The bulb under the power lamp doesn’t work. I got to it, but it is soldered in, and I didnt want to mess with it. It very well may work with a new bulb. The wood panels are pretty beat up. There are some cool things. though. The door on the back that houses the cord when not is use is there and fully functional. The back of the unit is pretty clean so this would look find from the audience of a show. The two-prong power cord looks original and far from dry rotting. Inside the synth is a yellowed sheet with lots of Japanese writing on it, thats always a plus. FUNCTIONALLY– This synth sounds like a beast. DO THE RESEARCH AND SEE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THESE BASS MACHINES. All the sounds are awesome and easy to get to. This is the perfect synth to sit on a piano or organ and still reach the controls and play. There are some small issues. The effects modulations all work. The ring mod settings are kinda strange, but one sounds like a classic ring modulator. The filters are controlled horizontally and these two faders work great. VERY COOL to control the LPF and the HPF at the same time. FIVE octaves from which to choose, very easy to get from a bass sound to a screaching lead. 5 waveforms…kinda. I don’t think CHORUS I and CHORUS II are waveforms, but KORG threw them in here. The sine wave only outputs a weak, faint sound, not in a sine wave way, in a “something’s wrong” kinda way. The CHORUS’s here are awesome, no detuning oscillators, just flip a switch. CHORUS two is pretty wide and kinda does that old KILLERS thing! All of the modulations tabs work except one. This synth has some really cool features here. “BEND” scoops up to each pitch played, even when the previous pitch was higher. ALSO “REPEAT” does just that. Something triggers that oscillator and the speed is controlled by the yellow fader on the right. REALLY COOL. The vibrato works, but only with the on/off switch on the top panel. The width and speed faders still control the parameters though. The portamento does not work on this. Kind of a bummer, but you can do a PORTAMENTOesque thing with the BENDER effect. Also in the highest octaves, you can barely hear a lower octave playing along, but would be inaudible in a track. ALSO.. the high and low outputs seem to have slightly different timbres. I would try both. TO ME.. the essence of an analog synth is the sound of the oscillators and the Low Pass Filters. This synth knocks this out of the water. INCREDIBLE analog sound. I wish I could keep this one, but I bought it to sell it. I have a MOOG SONIC SIX, and a ROLAND JUNO60 and couldn’t really justify keeping this since I’m not playing live much anymore. This one has a few small issues, but will do the MINIKORG thing for you.” Link
“You are bidding on a used but in excellent condition, Vintage Korg DSS-1 HD Sampling Synthesizer with fully expanded factory memory upgrade to 2 megawords, factory SCSI HD port upgrade, 20 megabyte SCSI Hard Drive, Hard shell case, manuals, and factory disks. This is a real deal. This is a DSS-1 with all of the bells and whistles.
This is an excellent Analog synthesizer along with being a Sampler. This Synthesizer part of the Sampler has the Fattest Analog Brass sounds available. The last time I used it it worked fine, 10 years ago. To test it for the auction I plugged it in and the display lights up, the hard drive is recognized and all seems to be in working order. I no longer have a way to fully test it but I did what I could. One thig that I found out when I tried loading a System (Korg talk for a bank of Samples and Programs) from the diskette drive I got an error, I do not know if it is a disk drive problem or a floppy disk problem, or if the Diskette drive needs cleaned. I tried loading programs an that worked fine. I no longer remember how to use this item so I do not know if there is a problem or an operator error, I am just being honest. The Hard drive is formatted and is recognized but nothing is currently on the hard drive.
The case is a Hybrid brand and is a little rough from use.
5 factory Diskettes included
Power cord is included.
The Hard Drive comes in a carrying case and has an external power supply.
Included is the following:
* Users Guide to the Upgraded DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer Book
* Kork Dss-MSRK Memory/SCSI Retrofit Book
* DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer Service Manual Book
* DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer Owner’s Manual Book
* Color Korg DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer Sales Flyer” Link
“Works good. This one-of-a-kind Korg VC-10 was owned and is signed on the top by famed Japanese musician Stomu Yamash’ta. Stomu has worked with (among others) Steve Winwood, Al di Meola, Michael Quartermain, Klaus Schulze, Michael Shrieve, Morris Pert and Peter Robinson.
It uses Japanese voltage and requires a converter if used outside of Japan. This is available upon request.
Own a piece of history!” Link
“If you’re looking at this auction, you know what this is. (Er, if not, look here). This unit is in very good physical shape and has been recently returned to 100% fully working order, with all patch memory, keys, LEDs, in tip-top shape.
I originally bought this unit here on eBay about 10 years ago. I beleive the seller was the original owner, as they sent along the manual and factory presets tape and the board was in immaculate condition. It has lived in my non-smoking studio since I bought it. My studio has moved a lot, so it has picked up a bit of minor wear, namely some paint is missing from the right side face edge and a minor scratch around the volume knob. The wood panels have a few dings and bumps and have started peeling a little bit on the bottom edges, but still look pretty good.
Internally, I have replaced the CPU board with a better unit, one that had a little pink Lithium battery (rather than the evil blue NiCad of death). As such, there is none of the distinctive aqua corrosion on this board. I replaced that battery with a coin Lithium battery (as documented here) and repaired a number of bad leads. I also recently cleaned all the keyboard key contacts.” Link
“This synth needs work. Many of the keys do not work. Some of the functions on the keyboard are working, others are not. You will definitely have to have a tech go through this, or fix it yourself. I am selling it completely as-is. We will pack it very well in bubble wrap and ship it in the road case.” Link
“Up for auction is a used DX7iifd synthesizer. This one is in GOOD condition which is to say it is not MINT. The only flaw is on the back of the left end cap where it is cracked (see pictures). I have tested this unit and have found that all of the keys play and all of the programs work. The Cartridge is included as is the manual. I put a disk in to see if the drive would format it and it did successfully. See display pictures. The pictures were taken on June 8th, 2009, and the unit was re-tested by me on that date. While I did not try every possible function, all of the buttons appear to work and these units are very robust and I don’t see any indication of a problem.” Link
“This is a vintage Yamaha DX7s synthesizer. It is in good condition and works just fine. It does not have a cartridge though and the serial number had been rubbed off but it was written down and comes with it, also the previous owner had etched some numbers in the back as you can see. ” Link
“You are looking at a classic Yamaha DX7 synthesizer. The DX7 is one of the best-selling synthesizers of all time and will forever retain a prominent place in the history of electronic musical synthesizers. More than 20 years after it was first introduced, it remains a “household name” within the professional music world.
This is the original DX7 version, with the membrane-style controls and solid metal body. This is the quintessential DX7 model; it was followed by several variants such as the DX7s, DX7II, etc.
Functionally, this unit is 100% perfect as far as I can tell. I tested it fairly thoroughly and there were no sticky keys or other such problems. The sound was crisp and clear as it should be. Like any used DX7 there are some typical scuffs and scratches etc. but nothing really worth mentioning.
When I tested this DX7, I found that there was a unique message upon startup, referring to this as a “SPECIAL EDITION” DX7. From my limited research it appears that this indicates the installation of a rare “SPECIAL EDITION” ROM modification, which enhances the DX7′s functionality. All I could really find online was this:

“HERE IS A YAMAHA SHS-10R MIDI CONTROLLER SYNTHESIZER. IT WORKS GREAT AND IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION.
IT COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL STRAP. THE STRAP HAS SOME WEAR ON WERE IT HOOKS ONTO THE KEYPAD. THE BLACK FINISH HAS WORN OFF. IT DOES NOT AFFECT ANYTHING. IT COMES WITH THE BLACK CARRYING CASE.
I TESTED IT OUT AND ALL THE FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES WORK FINE.
IT HAS THE HEADPHONES/AUXILLARY OUT JACK. IT HAS A PLACE TO PLUG IN A DC POWER SUPPLY AND MIDI OUT CONNECTIONS. IT IS MISSING THE BACK BATTERY COVER. YOU JUST NEED A BATTERY COVER.” Link

“Up for Aution is a mint condition Yamaha SHS-10r Keytar/Midi Controller. This one is really in great shape with almost no signs of use. Plays and works perfect, and has just a few tiny scuffs but you have to look pretty hard to find em. It comes with:
-The Original box
-Original Power supply
-Manual.” Link
“HISTORY: Unit was stored since the early 90′s by the previous owner. Unused for more than 16 years.
Here’s the issue that I discovered:
*The power light switch lits up when plug BUT no light whatsoever on any of the buttons on the front pane/display. Maybe bad power supply???
*FILT ENV Knob is broken/missing (panel is slightly push in around it); MASTER TUNE is broken/missing. Unable to turn both. All the rest of the knobs turns. All buttons are present.
*All keys are clacky. 1rst B flat key is sticky. All the rest of the keys goes back to their original resting position after pressing. Few uneven keys when viewed at an angle.
*Right side wood panel is darker. Previous owner recently sand it down and applied a wood marker. Some visible black scuffs. Needs to be varnish properly in order to blend w/ the rest of the wood panel.
*Screws on the rear are missing, some screws are missing on the bottom panel as well. Surface rust around the outputs, not that bad (see pix)
*White mark (arrow) on the MIDI IN (cosmetic flaws)
Overall it’s in good cosmetic condition with some minor scratches, scuffs, dents. Most of the scratches/scuffs are on the bottom panel.I hope the pictures describe the physical condition of the unit. ” Link

“The Sequential Circuits Pro-One is a wicked little monosynth! It comes from the same period and genre as the Roland SH-101 and Moog Prodigy. The Pro One was basically Sequential’s attempt at taking their legendary Prophet 5 poly-synth and packing it into a compact, monophonic analog synth! It has two VCOs, a great 4-pole lowpass filter, two ADSR envelopes (one for filter), and a compact three-octave keyboard. With a Pro-One, you can easily create punchy analog bass-lines and leads or quirky analog synth effects. I’m only the second owner of this Pro One. This Pro-One is in perfect working order. I will also will include the original manual.” Link
“YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS AWESOME CELEBRITY COMPOSER OWNED SEQUENTIAL CIRCUITS PROPHET 2002 PLUS SAMPLER/SYNTH/…(HINT: HE WAS JUST NOMINATED FOR AN OSCAR, THINK YELLOW SKELETONS) IT IS IN VERY GOOD PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL CONDITION FROM WHAT WE TESTED WHICH WAS MIDI AND WE SWITCHED THROUGH THE FUNCTIONS BUT NONE OF THE VOICES WERE TESTED SINCE THERE ARE “NO SOUNDS” ON THIS PARTICULAR SAMPLER.. THERE ARE SOME SCRATCHES ON THE TOP FROM STACKING AND EXTENSENSIVE DISCOLORATION SPOTS FROM AGE OR CLEANING BUT MAY COME OFF (SEE PIC).. MISSING ONE KNOB OFF THE INPUT LEVEL DIAL, FRONT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION A LITTLE TAPE RESIDUE TOWARDS BOTTOM, WILL COME OFF, BUT THE DISPLAY SCREEN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, SEE PICS!!! “This auction if for a Arp Odyssey Mk I Whiteface Synth . Please remember while viewing my auction that 100% positive feedback. This unit turns on, but does not output any sound. Several months ago I blew a fuse. I replaced it with another of exact value, but I blew that one as well . Due to having a hard time finding someone local in Houston to work on synths at the moment, I am forced to sell. Please view images for description of exterior. I did my best to take the best pictures. I am selling unit due to unit not functioning(no one in Houston knows how to work on these synths) and needing to acquire money for college.” Link

“You are bidding on an ARP Avatar analog guitar/CV synth! This is an amazing synth, and quite rare. You can use it with the old hex pickup (not included, but we have the cable), or with standard CV the way you would any synth from that era. It can create some really killer sounds, especially leads, basses, and nice edgy pads. Very similar to the Odyssey. For all the techie specs, features, etc, just check it out online, as it’s an absolute classic piece!
This one has had only one owner, and overall it’s still in very good shape. All the sliders are in tact, just some missing the little colored caps (typical). It has a few minor scrapes here and there, but less than you’d expect on a synth over 30 years old…
One of the side caps bows out a little, but that’s just cosmetic and fixable (see pics). It was periodically used up until a few years ago, no problems whatsoever, then put into a home closet for storage (not a garage, so climate controlled). We haven’t been able to do any thourough testing on it, but it’s from a highly trusted source. Any maintainance needed should be typical stuff – cleaning pots, etc.
It comes with an ATA Anvil flight case! It would need to be refoamed (any 30 yr old case would), but the case itself is in excellent condition. It also comes with the power cable and pickup cable.
Just see the pics below for what you get.” Link

“This is used ARP Quartet vintage original Synthesizer in NICE shape includes a hard shell case. We just had this checked out form our tech and everything functions as it should. The only thing he found was the power switch is not straight in the unit but does work. There are the normal scrapes and scuffs on the wood like any piece of it’s age.” Link
“ARP 2600 Synthesizer–Needs Repair!–Here is this unit’s history. I helped a friend who was the original owner of this ARP 2600 sell this synth on e-bay, because he did not have an account. We sold the unit to someone in Colton, CA. He paid with PayPal and wanted the unit sent via U.S. Postal Service. He said the unit was not powering up, so he wanted to return it. PayPal allows you to do this, so I arranged to get the unit back. The unit was physically fine, but had taken such a bump in shipping, that the single layer traces going to the power supply regulators were ripped from the regulators. I repaired the traces with wire and replaced the +12V and -12V regulators, but the resulting power problems took out a few modules.I have removed the power going to these modules. This is all documented in the pictures of the internals of the unit that I have taken. My friend ended up trading the unit to me for some digital gear, and I was going to fix it–after I moved to Las Vegas. I also had the intention of replacing the op-amps in the unit as described in the book “Vintage Synthesizers” by Mark Vail. To be quite honest I do not have the time and money to invest in trying to do that now as I have recently lost my job, forcing me to sell this beautiful piece of vintage analog history.
The unit is serial number 2601-0207, made in Newton, Mass.USA. I have all of the original patch cables, the Users Manual and the service documents I downloaded and printed, which will be sent with the unit. It also has the original keyboard which is a model 3620. The serial number is 3260-0207. This is the more desirable of the two keyboards that were available, as it was the two-voice interval-latching keyboard–not monophonic like the model 3604 keyboard. The end of the keyboard cable will probably need some repair also–see picture.
The unit has one scratch in the tolex covering near the S/N plate on the bottom of the unit. One latch is missing on the left rear corner–the other three work perfectly and the lid stays in position very nicely. It has a couple of small scratches on the front panel near the left speaker and the left speaker slider is missing it’s knob. All other problems are as documented above. Again-I am a technician who is way more familiar with repairing digital gear, not analog gear. But as a tech I can attest to the fact that this unit is a perfect candidate for restoration as it is in near mint condition.” Link
“Up for bid is the OBERHEIM OB-XA 8 VOICE 120 PROGRAMS “PROJECT” FIX IT, REPAIR OR PARTS. Has JL COOPER MIDI
Here’s the issue: According to the previous owner, 8 or more VCO’s are bad. Some of the vcf, vca’s also need to be replace. I don’t know if there are other issues that needs to be fix as I never heared it play. I don’t know if the programs are still there. All I know is it does power up. All connections seems to be intact. Internals looks good aside from some dust.
Missing 2 knobs (volume & release), screws on the keyboard assembly is missing (easy to find) so it moves freely. Few side screws are also missing so top lifts up easily. One of the plastic cover on the back of the cooling fin (??) is missing. The keyboard has the usual clackiness but no sticky/lazy keys. J wires are intact. All the springs on the keys are intact (see pix)
It’s in very good cosmetic condition. Minor scratches/scuffs on the top panel & bottom panel. I hope the pictures describe the physical condition of the unit. ” Link

“This is an original “Octave “the Cat” Electronic Music Synthesizer”….. manufactured from 1977 to the early 80′s. Iv’e had this one for almost 10 years…. I’m an electronic music producer, but iv’e always used VST’s and midi controllers and such….. I HAVE plugged this Cat in, and it DOES work…. I’m not familiar with how to use it properly, with a formant i guess, (external input), which i imagine creates more tone than the beeps and buzzes and rhythmic pulsations that you hear when you simply play the keys with the Cat “standing alone”. If there is anything wrong with this unit, I am unaware of it….This thing is in the exact same condition it was when i got it ten years ago….(from a friend who owed me alot o’ money). As you can see, there are a couple knobs and slider caps missing off the face, but the functions still easily work and are operated…. (they have the standard half-circle heads for replacement knobs to slip onto, so not a biggie to replace). – AGAIN- all the knobs and sliders are in seemingly good working condition, as with each move of a slider and with each turn of a knob, there is change in the sound/waveform that you hear. -there is some minimal white paint splatter -only on the keys (which i have not taken paint thinner to), that i’m sure can be removed with either thinner or something of the sort.” Link

“For your consideration is this vintage Moog Rogue in perfect working order. This vintage simple monophonic Moog synthesizer is one the best for creating rich bass sounds and creative leads. This Moog is very user-friendly and easy to manipulate. With 2 VCOs, basic Filter controls, CG/GATE, and a 2 1/2 octave keyboard, this minimal monosynth still offers plenty of usable and familiar Moog sounds. This is perfect for the live performer, the home studio, and the synth enthusiast.
The synth has been tested and is guaranteed to work perfectly. Every control has been inspected. The synth is missing the Glide and Tune knobs. The mixer oscillator 1 slider is difficult at times, but it works. This synth does not include the 24v power adapter. Identical to the Radio Shack Concertmate MG-1, and the Taurus II bass pedals, this unit is an obvious purchase. ” Link

“Here it is, the legendary and real Roland TR-808. This is no plug-in, this is the real deal. It makes the real analog sounds through voltage controlled circuitry and there is nothing like it and I mean nothing. You just can’t replicate this fruity little tooty. I reckon my adverts get more eccentric as time goes by but I really am passionate about how superb this little beauty is and they don’t come up every day.
Its condition to be fair is good, I wouldn’t say mint, that wouldn’t be right but it is quite reasonable and as stated, functionally it is 100% there.
I believe I am the third owner of this example and I have recently had it serviced and I have looked after it well during the time I have owned it.” Link
