“Here is a Sequential Circuits Poly Sequencer for their Prophet 5 keyboard. Its in pretty good shape for its age, a few scratches here and there. The sequencer part of the unit works and the tape drive unit also moves / rewinds a tape. But thats as far as I tested it. I have two of these units that Im selling and their both in about the same condition. The unit comes with three tapes for the tape drive.” Link

“Moog Source Vintage Analog Synthesizer, In Great condition, Mebrane looks and works great, internal battery was changed and original patches reprogrammed. Sold AS-IS due to age but I will test it before shipping.” Link
“This is a vintage analog synthisizer sold by Radio Shack under the Realistic brand name. It was designed and produced by Moog Music for Radio Shack. It is sold as is. Its in fairly decent condition. Everything works except the noise generator. It has been repaired a coupld of times, one to replace the tone source tuning pot and the other time to fix a non-working divider chip. Also, the black foam eveyone talks about has been removed.” Link
“I love this keyboard and really hate to part with it. It is in great condition cosmetically and operates perfectly. I had the foam stuff that turns to gunk removed. That stuff was a bad idea to have put in there. If you are looking for an MG-1 it is a good idea to have that stuff taken out. It is a huge hassle to get rid of it and can be quite expensive to have removed. Please email with any questions and I will be happy to answer them in a timely manor. ” Link

“Up for your consideration is a Roland Axis AX-1 Keyboard Keytar in great condition, has some scratches on the back and some nicks/dings all around, but this one is in pretty good shape considering it’s age. 100% functional or your money back. ” Link
“GREAT CONDITION ROLAND AX-7!!! WITH MANUAL AND STRAP. Very light use when jamming with the band. It is in perfect working condition and looks great with very light signs of wear,” Link
“For your consideration is an original Korg VC-10 analog polyphonic vocoder and synthesizer in great working order and beautiful physical condition. Synth has lived in a smoke-free studio for two years and purchased from another studio that had owned it since the mid 1980′s. Recently cleaned; all pots, switches, jacks, and keys work flawlessly while literally every key can be played and vocoded simultaneously. VU meter functions as it should and is quite useful for achieving your sound. The only trouble with this synth is the original mic does NOT work. I have not attempted to fix it, but I imagine that it is a simple continuity problem and could probably easily be fixed. I will include this original mic with the vocoder. Since you can use any external microphone, I have found that an old electro-voice mic works rather well. I have also used this vocoder live twice with a Shure SM58 and it sounded great at very loud levels. This synth produces an extremely clear and intelligible result with little effort.” Link
“KORG POLYSIX SYNTHESIZER – From the 80′s. COSMETICALLY, this unit is in good shape. The end panels are a bit chewed up on the edges and there are a few paint chip dings that were touched up on the metal edges (see photos). ELECTRONICALLY – Here are the known issues. Please keep in mind I am not a keyboard player/synthesist, but I will try to describe this the best I can from my trying it out here. All the keys work when depressed. The outermost mod wheel (pitch wheel) doesn’t do anything but the inner one works (modulation wheel). the VCO,VCF, and VCA work. The effects work. the MG and EG sections work. The BANK switches work. The PROGRAM switches 1-4 work, 5, 7, 8 do not work. PROGRAM switch #6 stays on and will not turn off. The LOAD switch stays on, will not turn off. The VOLUME pot is a bit scratchy. That’s all I am aware of from my trying this out (through headphones) when I received it. The photos here are of the actual unit up for bid. The manual is also included in the sale.” Link
“It Comes With Nothing. Power Supply: 100V Use with Transformer: Please google “converter 120v to 100v” in USA.” Link

“ADDED AS A BONUS!!! FREE BLACK (WITH A RED STRIPE) CARRYING BAG FITS MOST SYNTHS!!! NOT SEEN IN PICS, BUT GAURENTEED TO BE INCLUDED IN SHIPMENT. Item powers on. Power supply not included. I have used and tested this item with a multi adapter. It seems like it would be fully functional if the unit is restored to factory settings. Buyer would have to get a factory restore cassette on an other auction or download site. It is missing the black plastic top to the joystick and the battery compartment cover on the back of the keyboard. See pics. PLEASE BE ADVICED TO ANY POTENTIAL BUYERS, THIS ITEM DOES NOT HAVE STORED SOUNDS IN IT. HAS TO BE RESTORED.” Link
“
Hello, you are bidding the legendary FM beast called the Yamaha DX-1!! This one was purchased back in 1984 when it came out and has only had one owner. It has a few minor problems that need to be fixed. 7 of the keys stick (they still work, just stick and can be fixed with new contact pads). Also, the internal battery is dead (typical of old synthesizers) and can be replaced cheap. This means that the ROM has to be loaded in each time it is powered on and off. One more thing ,that doesnt effect any functionality of this machine, is that on the power supply case there is some corrosion but has not spread to any boards. It has been gigged and shows minor wear. Overall it needs minor repairs and a little cleanup. I hear there is only about 140 left in the world!!! Sorry about the dust on the synth,if requested I can take new pics. So don’t miss your chance on this awesome FM synth!! Afterall it’s like having two DX-7′S with a weighted keyboard and a cool old school feel!! Comes with DX-1,KX-5 remote control keyboard, original expression pedals (4 see picture),and 6 DX Rom carts!!!” Link

“You are bidding on an incredibly clean DX-7. Now, the DX came out in 1983 and this particular one seems to have been caught in a time warp (no, seriously). I am the 2nd owner of this synth.
(story time) I purchased it in an Estate Sale. A couple bought it back in the 80′s for their son. He used it briefly and went off to college and left it behind. It was found in time for the sale and the only problem was that the internal battery had expired (no funeral – just a quiet burial). When we opened it up to replace the battery, we were amazed at how clean it was inside. See, we had a Emulator E-II and when we opened that one up, it was so dusty that we had to vacuum it out. Not so with this DX-7. Just amazing, we could have eaten off of it (we didn’t).
Ok, enough of my ranting. You want to know what you get. Let me break it down for you:
* New Battery
* E! Upgrade
* 4 ROM cartridges (normally they sell for about $30 each)
* 1 RAM so you can write/save your own sounds (Cool!!!) (normally sells for about $50)
* Owner’s Manual + Service Manual + Product Manual (info for installation and use of accessories)
* Parts List Manual (comprehensive list of Part Numbers and Descriptions) (geeky cool!)
* Rescue Kit CD-ROM (in case you lose your voices or want to get the factory sounds back)
* CD-ROM containing thousands of sounds via SysEx
* Yamaha Foot Pedal” Link

“Sequential Circuits Pro One (Prophet One) – serial # [100]- 3447 . • This mono version was modeled after it’s big brothers, the Prophet 5 (rev 3) and Prophet 10 using the same VCOs, VCFs, VCAs, and Envelope Generators. • Probably most noted for it’s use by Vince Clark on his early works with Depech Mode and YAZ ( ‘Upstairs At Eric’s’ ). Other hardcore users such as Prodigy, Nitzer Ebb, Bronski Beat, Front Line Assembly, Tangerine Dream, New Order, Soft Cell, Mouse on Mars, Cirrus, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Prince, Banco De Gaia… , have taken advantage of this flexible synth with lots of modulation routing – the variable waveform LFO can modulate VCO A and/or VCO B (Freq., PW and/or Filter), two ADSR Envelope Filters, and it’s legendary 4-pole Lowpass Filter for some of the hardest and fattest basslines in electronic music… but I love it for it’s vast ambient drone/pad possibilities. • This unit is fully functional and I have recently cleaned all pots, switches and J-wire contacts. • It is missing the original wood side panels (I thought it looked cooler without) but is very clean and in excellant condition. All functions have been tested and working. One physical key, the lowest E key, is as bit mushy (but fully working), and could be corrected with some spring tweaking. • I am the original owner and it’s been stored for over 20 years. Purchased directly from Sequential Circuits after the kinks were worked out (most notably the power supply) and before the change to the (generally perceived as inferior and ‘mushier’) membrane keyboard contacts. • I love this synth but hate seeing it stored away in the studio. – I want it to be used!!” Link
“When shopping for a synth in 1983 to add to my live performance arsenal, I discovered this unit at a local music shop and was stricken by it’s versatility, impressive analog sound, simple user-friendly controls, and killer looks. It’s built like a tank!
There are varying opinions on each of the four instrument-voices featured here, but I have found all four quite impressive. Unanimously, the strings section is just fabulous. Violin and cello with attack, release, mute, and percussion (plucked string) controls. (I used them on live performances of “Every Breath You Take”, “Love Is Blue”, etc. etc.) The Prelude’s keys are not touch-sensitive, but the attack and release controls emulate smooth string drawing hauntingly with just the right amount of built-in verb to create the illusion of multiple-voice strings.
The piano section features Piano 1, Piano 2, and Clavichord with decay control, giving you a electric piano sound, an acoustic piano sound, and a good harpsichord sound. (The harpsichord also came in very handy on “Love Is Blue”) To my ear, the sounds are rich and full and do the job quite nicely.
The organ section features Pipe, Organ 1, and Organ 2, giving you a ‘Phantom of the Opera’ pipe sound, a jazz organ Hammond sound, and a stage electric sound not unlike the old Farfisa units of the 1960’s. Sweet-sweet-sweet organ tones.
Finally, the brass section features Brass 1 and Brass 2 voices, with attack, cutoff, swell, and resonance controls. While these voices may be the least realistic of the four, they are what you make them. (I was able to get just what I wanted in live performances of the Kinks “Come Dancin” and Chicago’s “About Time”. Running these voices through onboard and/or an external effects processor can tweak nuances and improve realism.
EACH of the four voice bank individual instruments can be ran alone or in combinations (i.e. piano 1, clavichord, piano 3). TWO of the four voice banks can be ran simultaneously. When you combine these with the built-in effects sections, an endless array of different sounds and creations is at hand. And again, running the board through an external effects processors opens all the doors.
Other controls: master tune rotating button, pitch bend slider, 5-band EQ with wet / dry fader and separate on/off button, master volume slider, chorus / flanger with speed, depth, and delay sliders with separate on/off buttons, and octave (down) button – very useful.
Back panel: master power on/off lighted flat toggle switch, fuse housing / access, ¼ inch instrument input jack (you can run other instruments or mics through the effects section), ¼ inch high and low outputs jacks, ¼ inch foot pedal imput (standard sustain – pedal not included), and what appears to be a D.I.N. type input for volume pedal (pedal not included).
Two fold-down metal legs on bottom for tilting unit up from the backside.
The Prelude synth is perfect for live performances with it’s “quick change” easy to spot controls. The “natural” analog sound is also great in the studio – I used the Prelude in the recording of three albums. This is a classic early synthesizer highly suitable for collectors, working musicians, or studio work. I am reluctantly letting it go after 26 years to raise funds for a new ax. I have taken very good care of this unit, it shows only minor traces of rub on the top cabinet edge, and it will serve you well. The unit was tested today and EVERYTHING WORKS as it should. Bid with confidence. ” Link
“Another fixer or parter. Generally inconsistent performance and it will go silent from time to time. Keys are fine and I’ve recorded some neat stuff with it, but it’s a wildcard.” Link
“Not functioning! Also one of the keys is a bit raised / broken. It makes some circuit bent like whines, but I make no promises. Would love it to go to someone who has some love for it and fixin’ knowledge instead of prog rock heaven.” Link
“Well, I hate to part with this Arp … its been with me since 1996 … but I need to generate some cash for a recording console upgrade and have had to make some hard choices. I was hoping that Phil Cirocco, THE Arp repair technician, would be servicing Odyssey’s again by now, but he and his team are still busy with 2600 units. This is Phil’s website, by the way: http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/arptronics/services.htm
This unit needs a slider lube. It could also use a few of the inexpensive upgrades discussed on Phil’s site. But the main issue this Arp has is that ONE of the 2 oscillators falls out of tune. This makes that oscillator difficult to play synth lines on. However, this unit has an unbelievable array of sounds (fx and sounddscape wizardry) and the other oscillator is tunable. These are antiques, so these types of problems are to be expected. It should also be noted that one of the sliders is missing its cap, and another slider’s tab has be snapped off.
If its any indication of the unit’s sonic worth Brian Eno attempted to purchase it from me back in the late 90s. Since then its been on various Greg Weeks solo albums, Espers recordings, Ex Reverie’s “Clouds or Smoke?” and numerous other Hexham Head recordings.” Link

“I’m selling a Mk1 EMS VCS3 Putney synthesizer. It dates from the very early 70′s. It’s in great cosmetic condition and works great. There is a small crack in the wood by the right speaker grill, which can be repaired. There are also some numbers etched into the very bottom under the patch pin matrix. My guess is this was from a university at one point. Due to age the unit is sold as is but it works great. Included will be a power cord. I can also provide pdfs of the manuals if needed.” Link
“Replaceable lithium batteries have been installed. Missing volume knob is easily replaceable and the pot still works fine.” Link

“Here is a rare Simmons SDX Sampler and Drum Module. This piece of electronic history is built like a tank, it even has roll bars. It had a list price of $12,000 when new, and drummers the world over still crave the sounds and abilities of this unique module. It still works and loads software. The problem is the library disks are getting old and some of them don’t load anymore. I do have one operating system disk that still loads. Includes power cable, box of floppy sounds and sheets with list of the library sounds.
With full SDX kits selling for $15K, and controllers selling for $5K, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own this rare instrument at a wholesale price.
I don’t have the manual, but there is information on the internet. My research tells me that there were only 250 made.
This module has been used be legendary drummers such as Danny Carey From Tool and Neil Peart from Rush. I actually saw Danny use this on stage on the Lateralus tour, you can’t miss it.
4mb
Independent computer with monochrome display
Trackball with floppy
16 inputs for zone intelligent pads
16 outputs.
The chassis consists of a a heavy steel frame with a welded on grip and a sheet metal tub that holds the electronic boards The upper covering is made of coated plywood.
Only 250 units built
In 1987, after the SDS-9, Simmons had to decide which direction to take. They were wondering whether to go with low-priced beginner products, or the professional high-class drums. They took the high-class route and came out with the Simmons SDX. It had features unheard of in other electronic drums. Its big feature was zone intelligence. It was the first drumset to ever have it, even though most credit the Roland TD-20 with being the first with it. It also had pad layering, making it possible to have even cymbal swells and buzz rolls. It also had a built-in sampler, floppy disk drive, and a 9″ monochrome green computer screen. It also had new cymbal pads, called the “Symbal”. It had a rod that allowed it to sway like a real cymbal.
A final kit was released, called the SDS-2000, featuring sounds from the SDX library, digital effects, further refined pads, and a new last-ditch company logo.
The music scene of the early 90′s was very different to the late 80′s, and the Simmons’ sounds, often associated with pop, synth-driven tunes, couldn’t find a serious market response in the simplified, more acoustic drumming trends of the grunge and rock styles of the time.” Link

“PRISTINE moog etherwave pro theremin. barely used but beautiful instrument. mine is number 434 of (i think) a limited edition of 800. never gigged with it because i didn’t want to damage it and i have other theremins for gigging. in great “like new” condition. the only times i’ve played it is when someone asks me what the heck that thing in the corner of the room is. included with item is foam padded soft case for the etherwave pro and will be shipped in box it came in. so it’s part of a limited edition of 80 theremins not 800. “Special and Final Edition. Last 80 instruments to have walnut grain finished” Link
“Used Moog Source in great condition. A few tiny spots /scratches from normal aging. Most Importantly, it functions perfectly. You either know about this SYNTH or u DONT. Its FAT. Ive used this on several records to introduce Synth BASS roundness and girth that you cant get anywhere else. The 24db filter is the secret. Sold AS IS since its almost 30 years old, but its working perfectly.” Link
“Up for auction we have a 1978 Moog Taurus 1 Synthesizer Pedal. Featuring a 13 note pedal-board, 2 VCOs, 4 presets (one of them programmable), a VCF, a VCA, and foot-switches for Portamento, on & off, octave switching, and release on & off. These synthesizers had a very fat sound. Presets were Taurus, Tuba, Bass, and a fourth user-programmable patch. This is rare pedal, so hop on your chance to own a piece of Moog history.” Link

“Perfect Working Order / with Hard case!
The Jupiter 6 is an incredible analog synth. All of the Jupiters have a sound that was unlike any other synthesizer and the Jup 6 is no exception. This sound is due in part to classic analog Roland technology in its filters, modulation capabilities and a thick cluster of 12 analog oscillators at 2 per voice. Easy and intuitive programming via front panel sliders, knobs and buttons for all your tweaking needs.
The Jup 6 is a scaled down version of the Jup 8 in terms of programming and polyphony. However the Jup 6 has some major improvements of its own such as newly added MIDI control and better tuning stability! While the Jup 6 does have MIDI, the implementation is very rudimentary and hard to control. The Jup 6 was one of the very first (along with the Sequential Prophet 600) synths to use the then new MIDI protocol, and the implementation on the Jup 6 is far from complete.” Link
