Cat, Octave @ 31 March 2009, “No Comments”

“Heres my octave cat analog monosynth up for auction. It is the early version ,not the srm. It is in very good condition and plays perfectly, and every function works as it should. Cosmeticly it is good also , but is missing 5 slider caps and the small plugs that cover the tuning holes.Other than that it looks very good. It has a small modification that moved the cv out to the low audio output so you can control it with a converter or another analog synth with cv and gate outs. I was using it with my obsx and sounded awesome with the oberheims output going in to the cats audio input, and with the obsx in mono mode made for a huge mono sound with lots of mod and env control mixed with the already fat cat sound. The cats cv and gate are both wired to one jack and not useful unless hooked up to another cat. So the cv was hooked up to the low audio output, and can be easily returned to original cond by returning the one wire, and can do so if you would like. Also the keyboard bushings are new and feels great.” Link

“You are bidding on a lovingly cared for orange and black face ARP Axxe synthesizer model 2323 in excellent ‘collector’ condition. These units were the final ones to be produced by ARP from about 1978 up through ARP’s demise in 1981. It is a monophonic analog synth with one voltage controlled oscillator, permitting one note playablility at a time. Excellent for solo leads or bass synth lines. This specific unit works 100% and has no broken slider control posts. All keys are level and accurate (not common for ARP’s of this vintage) and all color coded knobs are in their correct locations according to the manufacturer’s specifications and slider’s function. There are some slider controls that ‘stick’ while moving them, but work fine using the proper care. This was also common even for brand new units in the day. I know…I was there. The synth has very few cosmetic scratches, but that needs to be noted. I would rate this cosmetically a solid 8.5 out of 10. It could very well be used in a gig setting right now if a buyer had that kind of interest, since it is that nice of a unit. An excellent home studio unit or collector’s piece. Correct power cord supplied. No disappointments.

Also included in this auction is an additional ARP Axxe model 2321(earlier in the orange & blackface production), which I have used over the years to access replacement parts whenever needed on the 2323. This ‘parts unit’ has the classic wooden sides, as opposed to the final production 2323′s (and ARP Odyssey’s) which were produced with tanned leather sides in order to reduce original production costs and provide improved durability.

Both units are constructed of stamped steel, thus providing substantial weight for a keyboard of this size (21 lbs. each) and will be shipped together” Link

“You are looking at a genuine Yamaha Tenori On Music Synthesizer/Generator/Sampler. This item has been very well maintained. There is a 2GB memory card that is included. There are no scratches on the Tenori On. This is because I have kept it in a hard cover case that is included in the auction. The case was purchased directly from the Yamaha Tenori On website. This is the perfect device for anyone that enjoys making and listening to music. This is perfect for anyone that is usually on the go. You can put in a few AA batteries, connect a pair of headphones and you can make music anywhere. This is great for long trips or at home hooked up to your stereo. If you are wondering how the Tenori On works or you just want to see it in action, I recommend looking it up on YouTube. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. ” Link

“International Voltage Model (220V,240V,110v) in excellent cosmetic and working condition–This CS-50 has no noisy pots or sliders and sounds great If you’re looking for the Vangelis filter sound, In some ways the CS-50 has an advantage over the CS-80 –tuning stability and note attack and size
Don’t miss out -you will never find another CS-50 in as nice cosmetic and working condition. (Im only selling this because I wish to fund another purchase I have the opportunity to buy-if the CS-50 does not sell I will happily keep it and will not be re-listing again)

“You are bidding on a Vintage six track everything is in working order the only thing is there is no manual” Link

“I am selling a Sequential Circuits Pro One. Long story short, it was for someone, but later told me he didnt want it, so I need to sell it. I am using the same picture the person i bought this from did, its the same condition that is displayed, as you can see, cosmetically its pretty much mint. I tested it in my smoke free studio and everything works fine, no faults or problems from what I can tell, except two black keys on the right hand side, the rest of the keyboard works pretty well, im not sure what it is, i think its repairable, but no guarantees” Link

“This Vintage Synthesizer is overall in Very Good Condition. I really am not quite sure how this works. It constantly makes some sound as it sits right now.. I was able to determine that all the keys work and it makes sounds but no manual is with it , so I don’t know if it is working properly. The case that it comes in is also in excellent condition. It is missing the tops of some of the pot fader buttons Your expertise will be able to tell this when looking at the pictures. I’m guessing it was hardley ever taken out of it’s original hard shell case.” Link

“Here is a rare aiwa ewi1000 & ewv2000 sound module and wind controller units look in good shape and power up fine.” Link

“Excellent Condition. (it would be “Mint” except for slight scuffs which are hard to avoid on a 24 year old instrument) 100% perfect working order

I’ve owned this since the late ’80s and it has lived above my JP8 as you can probably see in the photos. It’s never been gigged and has always been in a clean, smoke free environment. The unit is clean inside and out and works great! The displays are nice and bright and the synth passes all self tests and calibrates fine.

Fully updated: Processor: 1.2 Voice: 1.4 Cassette: 1.0

Auction includes:
Oberheim Xpander Power Cable Original User’s Manual

If you pay in person with cash, I’ll throw in a super rare Oberheim coffee mug from the mid 1980s. ” Link

“This is a 1980′s keytar style synth. The device is black in color and comes with the original case, power supply, and owners manual. The latches on both ends of the case work, but there is no key for the locks. The middle 2 latches on the case will need replaced. The manual is complete, but yellowed and coffee stained. I am not the original owner of the device and cannot give you a complete history. I have owned it since 2000 and it has been lightly used or stored since then. Prior to that it was owned (not used as far back as I can remember, but stored) by a high school band. It was obviously put to good use at some point in its life. The finish on the bottom is worn along the edges(see pics). All knobs, switches, sliders, and keys work. Some of the pots are scratchy and I assume to be affecting the sound of the unit. I don’t have a good reference for what the device is supposed to sound like, so I cannot say for sure. All the keys produce an output when played.” Link

“Up for auction is my Roland TB-303. This 303 is full functional on batteries or AC, and sounds great. I have been using it with a SBX-10 to sync with Live, and it works great!

Comes with original bag and Boss PSA-120 power adapter. All buttons have recently been replaced and feel nice.

Now – for full disclosure:

1. There are some thin scratches on the front panel as you can see in the photos (by the Roland logo, and by the volume knob)

2. At some point in this 303′s life, there was a repair done to the main PCB. I looks like it was cracked (near the volume knob), and the tech repaired the traces using jumper cables (see photo). This does not affect operation at all (I didn’t even know for 2 years after I purchased it from a guy in the UK). I had my tech look at it, and he said who ever did the fix did a good job, and he could find no faults at all.

I can supply MP3′s of this 303 in action, YouTube video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py79FwAw9Qg

I have done my best to describe the condition of this 303 to the best of my knowledge, and due to the age of this vintage unit, it is sold “as is”.” Link
