PPG, PPG Wave @ 06 January 2009, “No Comments”

Description (revised)

Link

Moog, Satellite @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“For sale is a Moog Satellite(Model 5330) Vintage analog synth. It was given to me to add to my collection. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to play or mess around with it. I’ve plugged it in and there IS sound, however it will be need to have work done as it doesn’t work properly. I haven’t tried opening up to see what it needs to work properly again. So it’s being sold as is.
There are 2-3 broken tabs in the front, but are still useable. Also there are 4 out of 7 slider buttons that are missing from the top (see pictures).” Link

Moog, Satellite @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

I don’t know a ton about this unit. We picked it up a couple years ago, it worked fine and now it just powers on and makes no sound. All of the sliders are there with only a couple tabs missing.” Link

Memorymoog, Moog @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“This beast has been rarely played since a complete recalibration and cleaning awhile back by factory-trained tech Steve of Midwest Music Menders in Chicago (the man is a genius!). The Memorymoog has been kept in a smoke free temparature controlled studio environment since I have owned it. It is in very good cosmetic condition for its age as well (there are a few minor scuffs & marks in general and specifically on the left side panel). It has Midi in-out-thru though I have always just played it live. The keyboard has a wonderful feel. Everything works absolutely perfectly except for the auto-tuning which can be a bit temperamental. Although it always still sounds great to me, after auto-tuning sometimes it says 6 voices tuned, sometimes 5 (both as pictured) and very rarely 4. But talk about FAT!!! This analog beauty really has to be heard to be believed. It has been a proud part of my extensive vintage synthesizer collection (including ARP 2600, OB-Xa, Prophet 10, VS, etc.) but now it is time to find a home where it will be played more often.” Link

“´m selling the best Synthesizer I will ever have…the mighty Moog Minimoog Model D (serial nº 9124). ALWAYS used in a non-smoking studio and a home studio. I can guarantee you the perfect condition of that piece of history. Technically perfect (as new) and aesthetically near mint as you can see in the pics (difficult to find a Model D in that condition nowadays).” Link

Moog, Prodigy @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“This Moog is in excellent condition, particularly considering its age. Basically perfect, just with the odd knock to the woodwork at either side. I’ve owned it for over 15 years, and in this time it has only had occasional use. I am selling it grudgingly to raise funds for an ever increasing family.

It comes with the original owners manual which is also in excellent condition barring a small tear to the front cover.” Link

Micromoog, Moog @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“This Micromoog is in incredibly good condition both physically and functionally. All of the nobs and switched work and the ribbon works as well. I don’t know when it was last serviced or cleaned internally so that might be something you’d want to do yourself or get done. I was planning on doing it when I got it (I’ve only owned this for a few weeks) but another keyboard came along so I’d like to sell this one.” Link

Micromoog, Moog @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“Vintage MOOG Micromoog monophonic synthesizer in good working condition. This little synth has an excellent sample & hold function in its modulation as well as the ribbon controller.

This synth is roughly 33 years old so it has a little bit of wear from years of use.

Due to size and weight, I would prefer local pickup (New York City). Flat $50 shipping to anywhere in the continental US. Please contact me before bidding if you’re outside of that to determine what the shipping rate would be.” Link

Moog, Opus 3 @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PICK-UP ONLY ITEM. SERIOUS BIDS ONLY PLEASE. NO BIDS ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED FROM OUTSIDE THE UK. I WILL NOT DELIVER OR SHIP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD THIS ITEM AND CANNOT PICK IT UP, PLEASE DO NOT BID. MANY THANKS!
The instrument has very minor cosmetic wear but is in full working order. It has only been used in a live situation three times and not for 11 years. Since 1985 it has mostly sat unused, sometimes for a year or two at a time, as my musical career was intermittent at best and I’ve only hung on to it for sentimental reasons. It has been kept in a smoke free environment. But I have played it recently and it sounds the same as ever. It will be supplied in a vinyl case which has seen better days but is useful for carrying the synth about. As I say, it’s a scarce synth but to give you an idea about its provenance, it was used by Kraftwerk, Stereolab 808 state and others.” Link

MG-1, Moog @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“Used MOOG MG-1 analog synthesizer in good shape. Tested and working smooth. All keys and sliders work good. For its age this synth looks and sounds pretty darn good. This synth does have a few cracks in the plastic housing around some of the switches. The cracks are simply a result of the old age of the plastic, and are on the surface level only and do not go all the way through the housing – see pictures. These cracks do not affect the playability of the synth at all. The synth is still very solid. Additionally two strap buttons have been installed on the sides of this synth so it can be worn like a guitar – a keytar, I never used them myself, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Moog Concertmate MG-1 is an analog synthesizer made by Moog Music and was distributed by Radio Shack under their “Realistic” brand name. The MG-1, on its surface, appears to be a “Realistic” branded synth, but it is, for all intents and purposes, a genuine Moog Synthesizer. The Moog concertmate MG-1 analog synthesizer has the following features:

– Two oscillators, one producing either a Square or Sawtooth waveform, with the other producing either a Pulse or Sawtooth waveform.

– One low pass filter/VCF, that can use the envelope generator, has limited keyboard tracking, and is capable of self oscillation.

– Limited envelope generator with variable attack and release, and a switchable sustain (no decay).

– Oscillator 2 can be tuned independently or synced to oscillator 1.

– Noise generator.

– Ring modulator (called “Bell Tone”).

– Polyphonic oscillator capable of 8-note polyphony. This oscillator is routed through the filter, but not through the envelope generator or LFO.

– LFO that can modulate the oscillators and the filter using a triangle, square or random waveform

– Portamento (called “Glide”)

– External Control inputs for pre-MIDI CV/Gate.

– Independently tunable polyphony section” Link

Moog, Rogue @ 05 January 2009, “No Comments”

“I’ve replaced all the sliders and switches on this Rogue with the best available ‘self oiling’ equivelents available. Also the caps and knobs have been replaced so no problems there for probably another 20 years. Only one slight cosmetic niggle in the ‘Contour Generator’ lettering on the fascia has been scuffed over the years.” Link

“By the way this Moog does work very well. The rest is for entertainment purposes only ….but seriously , Bought in ’85 great condition just dont have the 24V adapter. I made the second one I had out of a doorbell transformer w/the 9V input jack after the original burned out. Unfortunately I lost it in a recent move.” Link

“If you’re here, you know what this is and what it can do. It’s been a great asset to me but I was lucky and came across a better one so I decided to sell this guy. He sounds fantastic! The Glide was malfunctioning when I received it so it’s been bypassed. Basically, it was always ON when I got it so I made it always OFF :) easilly reversible, just solder off the bypass wire. One of the corners is banged up in you are interested in cosmetics. Other than the glide being shut off, this works great! I’ve gigged with it and it has been an integral part of my sound.” Link

Cosmetically, it is like new, with very few duffs to the surface and nothing but a couple small scratches on the back of the machine. This item is being sold with the recommended Boss AC Adapter 120V. Batteries will not be included, unless you specify, because the extra weight will add to the shipping cost.” Link

SH-2 @ 04 January 2009, “No Comments”

“Roland SH-2 in near mint condition. It is 100% functionally – ALL knobs and sliders in place and working perfectly – no scratchy pots – It sounds amazing – this classic will not disappoint.

Note that this is a 117vac North American model. There are many Japanese market 100v versions out there (not cheap either) – but 117vac models like this one are quite rare.

Comes with a copy of the manual and a custom made, soft backed vinyl dust cover. This synth is from my personal, non-smoking home studio. It is spotlessly clean and will please the pickiest buyer.” Link

CSQ-101, SH-1 @ 04 January 2009, “No Comments”

“ROLAND SH-1 (built in 1978) This is a one-owner analog, 1 voice synthesizer. I purchased my SH-1 in 1979. This line is among the first of Roland’s revolutionary SH line of synthesizers. The SH-1 analog monophonic synthesizer has one VCO plus one sub-oscillator provide you with simple but great analog basses, leads and effects. The VCO can be tuned over a 5 octave range (2′, 4′, 8′, 16′, 32′) with saw, square and pulse waveforms. A squelchy VCF filter section, plenty of LFO modulation capabilities and an Auto-bend portamento type effect. The VCF, VCA and LFO sections have adequate and flexible controls and can modulate or affect each other in some way just as on the other similar SH-type synths. The only blemish is a chip in the bender that can be seen in a photo. Since the SH-1 does not feature an on-board sequencer or arpeggiator, I also purchased the Roland CSQ-100, a microcomputer-controlled digital CV/gate Sequencer. It can only play one sequence at a time. Sequences can be recorded via an external CV/gate input or using step-time. Portamento cannot be programmed, but is adjusted manually as a sequence is being played. Sequences can be saved and loaded via cassette interface. This sequencer is very capable and simple to use with Roland SH-1. Like the SH-1, this unit has pretty low mileage considering its vintage and is still in near mint condition!!” Link

“This Vintage KORG Keyboard is in it’s Original un-Circut Bent Condition. No Mods have been done. Keyboard is in excellent working condition. Only flaws are some scratches/dings and right above the keys some of the finish is worn to black instead of the light sparkling finish(see photo). Comes with everything shown. Keyboard does not include the 9 volt A.C. Power Adapter.” Link

Atom Smasher’s site on how to perform the Moog Slayer Mod on a Poly or EX 800 synth. Heed the warning on the page: “This thing can make dangerous sounds, like the speaker-blowing (and ear-blowing!) sounds of old modular synths. It’s really sick…. In addition to the usual disclaimers (if you break it, it’s your problem, not mine!), I’d like to also point out that I will not be responsible for blown speakers, amps & ear-drums.”

Korg, PS-3010 @ 03 January 2009, “No Comments”

“on sale a very rare KORG PS-3010 vintage controller keyboard complete with its connecting cable, from 1978.

It’s compatible with any Korg PS serie analog modular synth, such as the PS-3100,PS-3200 and PS-3300.

I always used it with my PS-3200 and PS-3100 and it works perfectly. The action of the keys is still pretty good, smooth and fresh; you
won’t need to change the rubber bushings for long time to come. I noticed no double-triggers or other issues. All the onboard
switches and the joystick also work 100%.
Same for the cable, it didn’t give me any trouble so far. I gotta say that this is my backup PS kit, so that I used them for very few hours
since bought’em.
Aesthetically, they’re both a little used: no major issues or scratches, but the wooden case of the keyboard, even if well kept (it’s 30+ yo)
presents some signs and tears here and there. I can’t describe it as mint for sure but, being particularly fussy, I’d give both of them
an honest 8/10.
If you are a lover of the great Korg PS synths you probbaly know how rare these things are: I’ve seen one only on eBay during the past 3
years, this being the 2nd only. This is a great chance to backup this precious controller for your beloved PS :-) Link

The microKORG sells new for $399, so someone will be getting a great deal! Korg MicroKORG Synthesizer / Vocoder Features: 128 user-rewritable programs 37-key mini keyboard Powerful synthesis Classic vocoding A full range of effects Great sounds and expression Flexible arpeggiator (6 types) Clear control and classic looks Can serve as a compact MIDI controller ” Link

“Korg poly ensemble Keyboard great condition sounds great. it has pi8pe organ, chorus , string and brass sounds. it has 2 sounds for each of those. It has EQ built in with phaser built in as well a pitch adjuster. great for pink floyd type string machine sounds.” Link

DVP-1, Korg @ 03 January 2009, “No Comments”

“Apparently somewhat rare 80′s vocal processing unit from Korg. Has a nice vocoder, a rather lo-fi harmonizer/pitchshifter, and a bleh synthesizer (good enough for vocoding use, though). Has MIDI.

Works fine. Some scratches, especially on the top. Comes with power cord (forgot it on the pictures). Manual is available as a PDF online.

100V model, so it will need a power converter to work with other voltages. I can include a converter (230V or 110V) for an extra $25 (haven’t been able to find any cheaper here, sorry), or the buyer can get one elsewhere. It MAY work on 110V without a converter, but I make no guarantees.” Link

Korg, MS-10 @ 03 January 2009, “No Comments”

“This auction is for a Korg MS-10 that can use some tender loving care. When a note is triggered, the envelope gets stuck at the sustain portion of the envelope and consequently, a sound is constantly emitted unless the sustain is turned all the way down. The bottom F key is crooked/broken, as well. The lettering on the back of the unit has been blacked out, and the right-side panel has had holes drilled into it. Some of the knobs, including the cutoff filter knob, are scratchy. A couple of screws are missing from the back, too.
Although the unit has some problems, it can still be considered useful due to its semi-modular nature. The oscillator sounds really great along with the infamous dirty-sounding filter that will accept external input signals. The variable-waveshape LFOs and noise sources can be patched with other modular equipment to expand its capabilities further.” Link

“”The MS-10 is a cool & classic analog synth known for its great bass and percussive sounds. It was released by Korg in 1978 as an entry-level, simple monophonic single-VCO analog synthesizer.”
In good working condition as far as I can tell, all controls work without any scratchiness, highest F# key has to be hit firmly to sound. Outer case is without any holes, dings, dents, etc.
I purchased the synth used 20 years ago, and haven’t played it much. I’m not familiar with it’s capabilities.” Link
