“Hi there. I am selling a Korg Poly 800 Mark 1 synthesiser with the Moog Slayer filter and resonance modification. It is the rare reverse keys version, which looks a bit cooler than the normal version.
I’m selling this because I’m a student, and I’m running out of space and money. I’m going to sell some gear, then maybe replace it when I’m a millionaire.
The Moog slayer mod does 2 cool things. It provides 2 nobs for control of filter cutoff and resonance, so you can tweak on the fly rather than mess around with buttons.
The other thing it does is increase the range of the resonance, taking it to ear-bleeding levels of self oscillation. You have to hear it to believe it – it’s terrifying.
It is not in perfect cosmetic condition, as I’ve always been more concerned with how it sounds. The biggest problem is that an E key is damaged. It’s still playable, but rather tricky. Also, the bending joystick has no cover, but this does not affect functionality. I have removed the covers for the moog slayer pots as I am replacing them. More photos this week.
The synth will come with the original PSU and some batteries, which are necessary for patch storage.” Link
“This particular example is being sold for a friend who doesn’t use eBay, so I cannot personally answer questions about the synth, but I can pass them on to him. He tells me this board works well and completely to the best of his knowledge. It’s in great shape, other than some dust and wear from use, a scratchy volume pot, and the missing momentary switch below the control wheel, which is replaceable. Due to the nature of vintage electronics, this piece is sold as-is, but everything seems to be functional and sounding great. The owner also has a copy of the manual which will be included with the synth.” Link
“A classic analogue synth that needs no introduction!
This Korg MS-20 is in fine working order. It is a great looking and sounding unit. You can read about it’s feature set here.
All the keys, controls and patch points work. As you would expect for a unit of it’s age, it has minor blemishes on the body from standard usage, but as you can see in the photo’s, there is no stand-out issue. I have printed service / calibration documents that will be packed with the unit for your reference should you need to re-tune the unit in the future. Five patch leads will be included so you can start patching as soon as it is unpacked!
Packaging is not an issue, I have all the materials necessary to pack it professionally. I have been packing audio equipment for a living for many years.
It is a great unit, so bid with confidence. I take my feedback seriously so will endeavour to make a sale transaction as easy as possible no matter your location.
Delivery within Australia will be by courier. (Please confirm your address prior to payment if you are in a regional area).
For international buyers, you can calculate approximate postage charges from this auction, however I can also arrange a courier delivery to most destinations around the globe (with a tracking number). Delivery would be approx 4-5 days to most destinations and reasonably priced (likely to be cheaper than postage). If you would like a quote for a courier delivery, please forward your ‘entire’ address and I will confirm delivery charges. Please note, I will confirm all shipping charges only a day or two before the auction ends as I expect a few enquiries, so please be patient and send your details through.” Link
“Here is a super clean Arp Odyssey Synth Model 2813. I admittedly know next to nothing about this synth, but I’ll tell you the extent of the test that I performed to give you an idea of it’s condition. I plugged the low level output into a Protools line input and proceeded to move every slider one at a time while playing the keys. Not very scientific, but I can say that all of the sliders, knobs, and switches were responsive and their movements made the sounds change. All of the keys, when pressed, made the pitch of the sounds change. This synth is capable of some crazy sounds! The high level output worked also. I don’t have the means of testing what appear to be the more advanced features such as cv, gate and trig in and outs(not quite sure what those are actually) or the pedal inputs. I have no reason to believe that these do not work. Looking at the unit, I wouldn’t have believed that it was made in the mid 70s.” Link
“Here’s an Arp Odyssey electronic music synthesizer that I’m selling AS IS. The unit powers on and I get various sounds out of the unit, but there are so many controls and variations on it that I’m really not sure if I’m testing it correctly. The unit may require calibration/service, so I’m selling it AS IS. Several of the keys are at different heights and need new bushings. The keys still work but if the unit has sat for a while the keys are sticky until you play them. Also the ID sticker has been removed from the back so I’m not sure exactly which model this one is. I’m pretty sure it is one of the 2800 series. I removed the bottom to check some of the board numbers (see photos). The various component boards are marked as follows: P-2805-A, P-2801-C, and Board B P-2803 A. There are two slider caps missing, and one of the slider stems is broken off. You can still move the slider. Finally the unit is missing one screw and rubber foot on the bottom of the unit. Overall cosmetically the unit is in very good condition. The inside is very clean also (see photo). Once again due to limited testing I’m selling this Arp AS IS, so please bid accordingly.” Link
“Vintage ARP Pro Soloist synthesizer in fairly good condition, one owner, never used professionally.” Link
“All original and very nice ARP Pro Soloist synthesizer. Overall very nice physical condition; it will not turn on though.
When last used, some 20 to 25 years ago, all stops and controls worked well. I’m guessing the problem to be the switch,
or power transformer etc…. but I really don’t know. So, take it as is, either on speculation to restore, or for parts or the shell.” Link
“This ARP does work. Although an in-depth evaluation has not been done, this is a functioning snyth with some issues and is being sold as-is.
There are 3 keys missing. Some slider knobs are gone. The underside panel is missing.
Nevertheless, here is an opportunity to own a choice piece of synth history with a little effort.” Link
“p for bids; a prime example of the super rare, near legendary KORG RHYTHM 55 ANALOG DRUM MACHINE, complete with original foot switch!
This classic unit was originally released in 1979 and sold for a couple of years (it was replaced by the Rhythm 55B in 1982). It, or the 55B have been used by such luminaries as Depeche Mode and Jean Michel Jarre, and its praises are sung far and wide for sound quality, ease of use, and range of sound reproductivity. This comes despite its lack of programmability, as it has enough presets and combinations available to offset its age, and makes a great addition to any vintage-influenced modern electronic sound. Youtube and other web sites have plenty of audio & video footgage of these machines in action – a simple search will yield a ton of results there, and in terms of reviews, etc.
All functions on this classic beat box work just fine as tested, on the unit itself as well as on the foot switch. It really is in excellent condition, both mechanically and visually- not a blemish on it!” Link
“Great shape & order.
Only known issue is that it needs tuned, which seems to be a simple procedure.
Will be packaged carefully and shipped via UPS within USA only.” Link

“I have been the very proud owner of this Prophet 10 for nearly 15 years now and it’s time to let it go. It is great condition. I just had this very rare beast repaired by a tech to get it ready for sale. The front LEDs weren’t coming on and the tech replaced a couple chips and now it’s all good. The keyboard comes in its original road case.
Condition
Due to the age of this keyboard it is being sold as is. Having said that……
1) There are some very light and small scratches on the keyboard but over all it is in excellent condition. There are scratches on the bottom of the keyboard.
2) Some of the keys are “klacky” when you play them. They could use new bushings. It won’t keep you from playing the keyboards, but it would make them play nicer.
3) There is a ding about the size of a pencil eraser on the wood on the right side. It is very small and not very noticeable. See the picture on the web page I posted.
4) I am not sure if the tape portion of the sequencer works. I don’t have a tape to check it. I have been told that a lot of these don’t work.
5) My tech told me that when you open the top of the keyboard, a note sounds and stays on. He said that it is the ribbon. This should not be a problem if the keyboard is not moved around a lot. As big as it is, you will probably not be gigging with it.
Functionally it is sound. All buttons and knobs are there and working. Watch the youtube video below and you will see it in action. I didn’t bother trying to get the sound right. If you have ever heard one of these in person, you know it’s a sonic monster. “ Link
“Sequential Circuits MAX Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer Used but in very good condition. A few scratches on the metal case. Everything works and sounds perfect. Comes with original manuals and power supply.” Link
“Hello. I am offering a Sequential Circuits Drumtraks model 400 Drum machine. This is a 12-voice drum machine released by Sequential Circuits in 1982. The sounds are 8-bit samples and consist of 13 tones with programmable tuning and level control. These include the usual kick, snare, toms, hi-hats and cymbals. They are stored on EPROM, allowing the user to burn their own samples if desired. A mixer section for individual sounds is available, but the output is mono only. The DrumTraks features great editing capabilities with a copy & paste function, far exceeding the popular Roland drum machines. 100 patterns and 100 songs can be stored in the internal memory. The DT can send Roland sync/clock to control a TB-303, TR-909, TR-808 or TR-606. MIDI support is also included. It shows some wear but works fine.” Link
“I have owned this Sequential Prophet 2002 for about 15 years. It has not been used for a while. It has a problem where there seems to be a slow oscillator (LFO) modulating the pan of the output, so that if you were only utilizing one output, the volume would fade in and out. Even when using both left and right outputs, it is noticeable though less so. I would imagine it could be rectified but am not sure of costs etc. I have the original manual and three original sound disks. If you can get it working, it is a fantastic sounding sampler because it has a ’sound’ as opposed to being just another generic, transparent sampler with no character. The sound is remarkably clean for a 12-bit sampler and the analog filters are sensational” Link

“This auction is for an extremely rare ARP Soloist monophonic synthesizer. The ARP Soloist is the predecessor to the renowned ARP Pro Soloist and is a single-oscillator preset synth like the Moog Satellite. As the name would imply, the ARP Soloist was meant to be used by organists and pianists to supplement their playing with solos featuring traditional instrument sounds like horns, strings, woodwinds, and synthesizer-style sounds. The Soloist has a pressure-sensitive keyboard that can be used to control filter and volume. This Soloist is in good cosmetic condition, and all of the front-panel switches are intact and move smoothly. The four sliders on the top left control panel have had their posts snapped off and are missing their slider caps, but the sliders themselves move freely. Replacements are easily available on eBay for around ten dollars each. The Soloist is also missing the plexiglass music stand. The synthesizer powers on just fine and you can hear a power bump in the amp when you turn it on, no sound comes out of the instrument and for that reason it is being sold as a restorable and collectable vintage synth. ” Link
“ARP Odyssey MK I Model 2800 White Faced Analog Synthesizer. This is a completely factory stock unit. No modifications. There are several versions of the ARP and the 2800 has the best filter in the industry. Produced from 1972-1974 the Model 2800 is one of the industries best still! This unit has been connected to a guitar amp and tested. Seems to be fully functional. Some sliders are smoother than others but all appear to work fine. Not my area of expertise but the unit is in overall good condition. No major scratches or flaws.” Link
“Arp Odyssey II Electronic Music Synthesizer 2810 As-is; Comes with a copy of the manual including template settings. This unit is is in excellent condition. It also comes with a case (old but very usable for storage). It have the CV, Gate, and Trigger Ins & Outs. It also has an Audio Input for an external instrument. This thing can spit out some PHAT sounds.” Link
“This listing is for a legendary vintage MOOG SOURCE Synthesizer .

They weigh 20 lbs. each so shipping will be $60. if its less I will refund. Please remember sold as-is. paypal or money order ” Link

“This synth is in good condition , I’ve only changed the portamento and glide buttons and shown in the pictures, portamento slider is a little bit crooked , almost invisible .
I’m selling this powerful synth because I need to pay for school , otherwise I would keep it . Item sold as is , It is in good condition , everything works perfectly, has been tested.” Link
“Among Yamaha’s DX line of synthesizers, the DX-1 is definitely the biggest and most expensive. With a dual 6-operator digital FM engine, it’s like two DX-7’s wrapped up in a wood-paneled case and comes with a truly professional weighted 73 note keyboard sensitive to both velocity and aftertouch. The DX-7 style membrane buttons have been replaced by actual push-buttons, display screens and the overall layout of buttons and diagrams is nicer and better organized.
Sound-wise, the DX-1 is like a fatter DX-7. It too features FM synthesis. That means that although the DX-1 is a digital synthesizer, its sounds are unique and fresh with an analog/digital hybrid feel. Programming however, is not at all like analog synth programming. All DX series synths use FM synthesis and all are rather difficult to program or, at least, difficult to understand what to program. Fortunately the advanced DX-1 has display screens that show amplitude modulation, envelopes, velocity, levels and de-tuning parameters unlike previous DX synths so you can better visualize what and how you are editing parameters. A neat new feature for the DX-1 is that two patches (Channel A and B) can be used simultaneously with the keyboard in layer or split-mode. This mode is generally 16-voice polyphonic, but with just one patch loaded you can have 32 voices of thick polyphony! Pretty good for a synth over 15 years old. Cash on collection preferred. NOTE THE DX TURBO -1 BANK LOADER IS NOT INCLUDED BUT WILL BE SOLD SEPARATELY.” Link
“The Studio 440 is like the Grand-Daddy of Sequencing/Sampling Drum and Music Production Machines.
EVERYTHING WORKS FLAWLESSLY (I don’t know if the SMPTE/CLOCK works, but I have never needed to use it)
The only flaw is that a metal ring on one of the outputs fell off (see pic) it does not effect the output, does not make it loose, you would not even know
Unit has normal wear for an item that is nearly 22 years old
I am the 2nd owner, this in #62 of 500(maybe less)
The original owner put in a new disk drive and back light before selling it to me. I purchased and installed replacement pads, also comes with owners manual
Included is an SCSI drive, loaded with all the sounds one can purchase for the Studio 440.
You get over 500 drum samples and 17 “ROM/SYNTH” sounds.
The SCSI has 49 banks of a max of 32 samples per bank left of storage (empty space is 100 banks at 32 sample each)” Link

“I bought this keyboard new when I was a road musician to replace an old Fender Rhodes Piano Bass. I never could learn how to make it play the way I wanted,so I brought it home and put in the attic where it has been for over 20 years. The fuse holder on the back has been replaced due to the loss of of the original fuse cap. It may have some issues, it turns on and makes all the weird sounds as it did when I bought it. But some of the keys must not be making good contact. Only a few of them will play a note. It does have scratches on it from being moved around in the attic. Im sure it needs a good cleaning by a pro. Im selling it as is” Link

THE UNIT HAS NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES AND IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A NEAR PERFECT EARLY MODEL OF THIS MONO SYNTH. MUST MENTION THAT TWO OF THE TINY SLIDER COVERS (PVC) ARE MISSING THESE COULD BE VERY EASILY REPLACED. ” Link
“This is a USA (Lexington) built ARP 4 voice electric piano, not currently working. I bought it in 1986, played it for while, then a friend used it to learn piano, then I it stored it in working order under the stairs for around 6-8 years. When I next set it up to inspect it a month ago it would not start, although everything appeared to be turned on as usual with no obvious problems. When it works it sounds like quite like a Fender Rhodes and its great for blues and rock. It was built in 1978 and the serial no. is 3351105. It has 73 weighted keys so it sounds like a real piano, not a cheap keyboard. The piano comes with four metal legs so does not require a stand. The overall condition shows wear and tear but is reasonable for the age of the item.
I can no longer store it so I am offering it by auction to whoever is interested. Buyer must collect as carriage costs will be too great. ” Link

“This auction is for a rare, early version ARP 2600 from the personal collection of Phil Cirocco of CMS / Discrete Synthesizers. It features a rare, vintage ARP 2600P V2.0 console and a 3604P keyboard. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a fully functional, killer sounding synthesizer, as well as a rare piece of electronic music history.
This is an early version of the 2600P. It was made in early November of 1971. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. The tolex on the console, as well as the keyboard is in excellent condition – rare for such an early model. The serial number is valid and accurate. It features all original, early type ARP sub-modules. It uses an original ARP 4012 filter. All 3 VCO’s are the great sounding 4027 type. It has the rare, early version 4010 VCA. Since it is a version 2.0, it uses the LM301 op amp for the audio path. However, the op amps are the better sounding military can version. It also uses the original large reverb tank. All of these things combine to form “one great looking and sounding ARP 2600!” To view a production timeline go to:
http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/arptronics/variations.htm
The electronics and mechanicals have been restored to 1971 ARP factory specs. It has not been modified or upgraded. The power supply was recently rebuilt to factory specs here at CMS. All the electrolytic bypass capacitors in the entire system have been replaced. This unit is ready for trouble free operation for another 20 years. For modifications and upgrades see:
http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/arptronics/arp2600.htm
The outside of the 2600P console is in very good condition. The lid for the console is also in good condition. All of the chrome latches and corners are present and intact. The Tolex on the inner section is in good condition. There are some tears in the Tolex around the front panel that have been repaired. The front panel is in very good condition except for some small unevenness in the corner of the preamp section. This is probably from some hack trying to open the console incorrectly. The preamp itself has been checked out and is totally functional. There are some small scratches in the paint near the right speaker – see photo. There are also some light scratches around the sliders in the voltage processor section. The front panel has not been drilled or modified in any way. Remarkably, the silkscreen shows no signs of wear and is totally intact. The silkscreen is the more beautiful and complex, early type.
This unit also features all new “Switchcraft” chrome front panel hardware! All the sliders are intact and are fully functional. The original black slider caps were not present when I purchased the unit, so I was forced to replace them with other ARP caps. These caps are original ARP equipment and are very rare and expensive.
It includes the keyboard connection cable as well as the AC cable. The keyboard connector on the 2600 console is brand new. The keyboard connection cable is brand new.
The 3604P keyboard is from the same era. It is in brand new condition and is fully functional. The lid for the keyboard is also in perfect condition. The Tolex covering on the keyboard is in perfect condition. The keys are also in perfect condition. The front panel is in very good condition except for some paint chips near the portamento knob. The keyboard has been meticulously maintained here at CMS for the last 15 years.
This system has been fully calibrated recently here at CMS. It holds pitch and scale regardless of temperature from initial start up to running for 8 hours. With no modifications, it can easily be run from a MIDI converter box and MIDI keyboard instead of the ARP keyboard.” Link

“Forget those nasty imitation plug-ins, this is the real deal. If you want true funky 1970’s vocoder sounding vocals and effects, then this is the piece of kit for you. I have had the unit since new, and it has been rack mounted in a studio ever since. With no moving parts, the unit looks and works as new. Used by the likes of Pink Floyd, Roxy Music, The Who, Kraftwerk, Hawkwind, not to mention Dr who!
The comprehensive accompanying manual gives lots of historical information on the vocoder, as well as technical and operating instructions about the EMS 2000 model.” Link
Link
